"I should have lost him by now."
Baraggan breathed a sigh of relief. But the moment he relaxed, he saw a figure in front of him.
"..." Shin's figure. Shin stood there, looking at Baraggan calmly.
His gaze was indifferent, yet it brought unimaginable pressure on Baraggan, forcing him to lower his head.
"Actually, I've been waiting here for a while. You're just too slow." Shin shook his head slightly.
Indeed, Shin had been waiting here for some time. Baraggan arriving now was honestly a bit too slow.
"What do you want?" Baraggan asked angrily, his tone filled with rage.
He wanted to kill Shin, but he knew he couldn't. If he could kill Shin, he wouldn't be standing here in impotent fury.
"Relax, I don't plan on killing you. If I wanted to, I would have blasted you to death with Jakuho Raikoben. You wouldn't have stood a chance."
Shin said calmly.
Although angry at Shin's words, Baraggan didn't retort. Not because he didn't want to, but because he couldn't.
And he was afraid Shin would actually kill him.
So he decided to swallow his pride for now. Finding a way to survive was the priority.
The mighty Emperor Baraggan, reduced to worrying about survival... it was hard to accept.
Baraggan remained silent, looking at Shin, waiting for him to speak. Finally, Shin broke the silence.
"I want to ask you something. Do you know Coyote Starrk?" Shin asked.
Coyote Starrk was a Vasto Lorde and the future Primera Espada. His strength was immense; just his Spirit Pressure alone could keep weaker beings at bay.
"Yes." Baraggan nodded immediately. Of course, he knew Coyote Starrk. Even Aizen wanted to recruit him.
"I know that lone wolf."
Baraggan immediately told Shin about Coyote Starrk, but Shin quickly grew impatient. He knew more about Starrk than Baraggan did.
"I want to know where Coyote Starrk is," Shin interrupted Baraggan.
"That... I don't know. I don't know where he is. He likes to be alone."
Baraggan had once tried to invite Starrk to join his Las Noches, but Starrk had refused.
They had even fought over it, and Baraggan had come out the loser.
"You don't know? If you don't know, that might be a problem," Shin sighed, looking troubled.
Shin's words made Baraggan's expression change. What did that mean? Was he implying something?
"I don't know where he is now, but I can help you find him."
Baraggan said quickly. He still had ambitions to fulfill; he didn't want to die.
"Oh? Are you sure you can find him?" Shin looked at Baraggan calmly.
"Naturally. I still have some influence in Hueco Mundo..."
Baraggan was about to boast about his status in Hueco Mundo, then remembered his subordinates were all dead, blasted to pieces by Shin.
But it didn't matter. Even if they were dead, he could raise another army.
Menos Grande and Gillian were just cannon fodder; controlling them was easy.
"What? Can't do it?"
Seeing Baraggan pause, Shin asked. His tone betrayed no emotion.
But Baraggan felt a dangerous vibe, a very dangerous feeling coming from Shin's words.
"I can do it! Of course I can!"
Baraggan nodded immediately. Could he say no? If he said no, he would probably die right now.
"Good. But I don't want to waste too much time. I hope you're fast. And don't think about running away. If you try, you can see what happens."
Shin turned his head, intending to leave with Yoruichi.
"System, copy Baraggan's power..."
In an instant, all of Baraggan's power was copied. Shin now mastered all of Baraggan's abilities.
This included his Resurrección, of course. Shin could now use Arrogante's power.
—————————————
"Shin, do you really think Baraggan will obey? And why are you looking for this Coyote Starrk?"
Yoruichi didn't know who Coyote Starrk was, but someone in Hueco Mundo had to be a Hollow, right? Not a Shinigami.
Even if there were Shinigami, Shin wouldn't be asking Baraggan about them.
"I'm not worried about him disobeying. If he does, I'll just kill him. It's not a big deal."
Shin's expression was calm. Was he afraid of Baraggan playing games? If he dared, it would be his funeral.
"Fine. You never tell me anything, so I won't ask."
Yoruichi said gloomily, feeling like Shin never really told her anything.
On the other side, Baraggan stood up, releasing his Resurrección. He was furious.
"Shin Uzumaki, Aizen... I'll make you both die together," Baraggan swore in his heart. These two were the ones he hated the most.
But for now, he could only fume in secret. If he were actually in front of Shin, he wouldn't dare show his anger.
In front of Aizen, Baraggan wouldn't mind showing his dissatisfaction, but Shin was different.
Clearly, Shin's threat was too great. Baraggan felt a massive threat from him.
Finally, after venting his anger, Baraggan went to find Coyote Starrk. Of course, he wouldn't search aimlessly himself; he needed to gather subordinates again.
Las Noches had been destroyed by Shin, so rebuilding it would cost a lot.
"If I can convince Aizen to deal with Shin Uzumaki, that would be killing two birds with one stone." The thought suddenly crossed Baraggan's mind.
First, Baraggan admitted that he couldn't defeat Shin with his own power. But if Aizen fought Shin, he should stand a chance.
