Shin knew it was time for them to leave.
He looked at the two dazed figures and said slowly, "What are you two doing? Do you understand my strength now?"
"I'll tell you right now, I want to know how your father was captured. And this time, I want the details."
"Butler, I may have saved you, but you've been suspicious of me the whole time, haven't you? Well, let me tell you, I can't protect you forever."

Lucy was already starting to regret it. She hadn't been like this before. It was only after meeting Shin that she had changed.

When she first saw Shin, her first thought wasn't about how handsome he was—that was just an act. She had suspected he was sent by the king, but she couldn't figure out why he hadn't just captured her.

She looked at Shin, sighed, and said slowly, "Brother Shin, do you really want to know the truth?"
"I have my reasons. Can't you just consider my situation?"
"I know we were wrong, that we deceived you. But if we weaklings don't hide our true selves, how are we supposed to survive?"
"And Butler, you're not dead, are you? You were just pretending, weren't you?"
But at that moment, she noticed something was off. The butler was looking at her strangely. "I'm not sure if I'm dead or not. But I can guarantee you, magic that can bring people back to life simply doesn't exist."
"That is to say, humans cannot possess resurrection magic. That is the power of a god."
"Unless he is also a god. But he clearly looks human."
During all this, Shin hadn't said a word. He was finally starting to understand a few things about these two.

Lucy wasn't shocked by this, but by the butler's resurrection. "Jack, were you really brought back to life? If so, that's… that's terrifying."
For a moment, Shin's worldview was about to shatter. What was this? So all of this was a scheme they had set up? The purpose was to show her father, the king of this empire.
But he had intervened, and that Jela fellow had fought him because he was sent by the king. As for his relationship with this little girl, it didn't seem that important anymore.
Having figured out the whole story, Shin was furious. Why had he been played by these two? Why had he been so stupid as to not see through it?
