Momo sighed, tightening her bag strap. "If you're not giving me your address, at least let me walk with you."
Jin groaned. "Why?"
"Because you might lead me there anyway."
"I won't."
"I'll still follow you."
He gave her a blank look with a smile,. "You're very annoying."
"Thanks."
They started walking.
For a while, it was silent. Jin kicked a pebble down the road, watching it bounce. "You walk weird," he muttered.
"What!?"
"Too careful. Like the ground's gonna explode."
"It's called being feminine, Jin-kun."
He wrinkled his nose. "It's called slow."
Momo glared at him. "I'm trying to have a normal conversation."
"Then pick someone normal."
"Like you?"
Jin stopped walking. Turned. Stared. "You think I'm normal?"
"…No."
"Good," he said, smiling. "For a second I thought you were stupid."
Momo wanted to strangle him. "Why are you so—so—!"
"Perfect?"
"I was going to say insufferable!"
Jin shrugged. "Same thing."
They reached an intersection. He paused. "You should turn left here."
"Why?"
"Because if you keep following me, you'll make Father curious."
Momo blinked. "Curious?"
"Mm." He smiled sweetly. "He likes when people visit."
Momo froze.
"Yup."
"Jin—"
He waved. "Bye, Momo-san!"
And then he ran off. Just—vanished down a side street like some cursed feral cat.
Momo groaned. "I hate that family."
