He turned around then and headed to the door. He first adjusted the air conditioner to a higher temperature to reduce the coldness of the room at the controller against the wall, beside the light switch. He also turned off the lights before he opened the door and closed it behind him.
Rizika caught a glimpse of his back figure when her eyes fluttered open. He switched off the lights and went out. She should be on alert upon seeing him again, but he already left, and that brought a sigh of relief from her. It wasn't really dark, for a lamp-like object was left open beside her bed on the nightstand. She was still feeling sleepy. Her eyelids heavy, she fell back into dreamland after a minute.
