Author Notes 1:
Hi guys, here is your shameless bastard author, back at it again with another chapter.
I'm cursed, always when i say in my mind "yeah I will pull a chapter faster, I want to do it every week"... then something comes up IRL... sigh.
I will stop saying it even in my mind lol. But im free now, so im finishing this chapter Saturday night. (And publishing Sunday morning)
The title was a spoiler? Not really, it was obvious after all. Besides, I had to put that cool ass title.
I'll try not to yap too much in the author notes 1, that's for the author notes 2.
So...Enjoy this 7k words including the author notes.
Let's talk and rant there about one of my favorite discussion topics in fanfiction.
The time has come to talk about this topic.
Things for the author notes 2:
- Talking about this chapter.
- Harems. Why i don't believe in harems and why sometimes harems ruin the story (my take)

- Third Person Pov -
Indra was sitting in the darkness. Somewhat akin to an office.
The light of the TV was hitting his face and reflected in his dark glasses as he was watching the news with a bored face.
The next couple of days were pure reflection for the God of storms.
After his future sight was being blocked multiple times by the stars, it made him think about a certain someone more in depth.
Indra discarded the idea of Samuel Lancaster being a son of his.
He mentally reviewed the hundred or so women he had been with this last 17 years.
It wouldn't be unusual for him to have a lost child, having so many, and given that similar situations have occurred in the past.
But nothing.
Samuel Lancaster was just a recently orphaned child. A fallen noble from a ruined noble house of England.
The pieces of the puzzle were coming together in his mind...
That was what he believed.
Of course, he came to a more plausible conclusion.
That human... that brat has a connection with the stars somehow.
Something that interests him, something he's going to discover. Whether he wants to or not.
Indra rubbed his chin.
How is it possible for a mortal to have a connection with the stars?
An ancient pact at its inception? Some sacrifice?
'The noble houses of England can really pull something like that? Not really. No... they are trash.' Indra easily discarded the idea.
Indra, still sitting in the darkness, lost in his mind.
If Cao Cao fails and comes back with his hands empty...
'...I don't want to ask Rohini about this matter." Indra said in his mind. After all, he doesn't get along very well with the other gods in his pantheon, especially the goddesses.
The door was suddenly opened by a certain famous figure.
"Wukong." Indra said, looking at the famous monkey. His vanguard.
"Lord Indra." The famous Sun Wukong nodded his head to the god.
Indra's eyes studied the monkey and the papers he had in hand.
"Bad news." Indra stated, getting it right.
Sun Wukong just snorted, tossing the papers to Indra.
"Damn right, it surprised even me. It just came out." Wukong said.
Indra grabbed the papers and started to read.
It was a statement from the Abrahamic pantheon.
When the contents mentioned Samuel Lancaster and his last altercation, Indra's back straightened forward. Full attention on the statement.
Samuel Lancaster. The fight with the spirit inheritors "hero faction." Their deaths. Lancaster grabbing the sacred gears for himself. His "wounded" state after the battle. Information about the Hero Faction and of course... Khaos Brigade.
Indra squinted his eyes at this information, cursing his luck.
'Tch.'
It was normal for Cao Cao to take his time on missions, but this time he apparently screwed up big time.
'The brat single-handedly killed them and stole all the sacred gears... the Longinus... the others too. Makes sense if the Abrahamic pantheon doesn't want to step in this mess for now.' Indra thought.
"They are turning their backs on the brat." Indra said with a smile as he read the statement saying the Abrahamic pantheon has no ties with Samuel Lancaster.
"Well, they know perfectly well when to wash their hands after all." Sun Wukong replied, exhaling smoke from his pipe.
"Weaklings." Indra said, standing up, smoothing out his shirt.
"You are going, my lord?" Wukong raised an eyebrow.
"Damn brat killed my pets and now has my tools. Now that he is wounded is the best time." Indra finished reading the prepared bait as he burned the papers. Indra didn't really believe it, but did it matter? He was a god, and the other was merely human.
As he passed right by Sun Wukong, the monkey took out the pipe from his mouth and spoke.
"Careful with that one, my lord. My instincts are telling me he is dangerous." Sun Wukong warned Indra.
Indra just scoffed as he teleported to Japan, ready to take the matter and answers by his own hands.
Sun Wukong let out a tired sigh.
"I want to retire." the Monkey King said, letting out a tired sigh. He was already feeling the weight of age.

- Still third person POV -
Samuel was with his eyes closed on his balcony. Waiting. Analyzing every magical movement in the city, waiting for any discrepancy in space.
He opened his eyes calmly when a blue portal in the street in front of his house opened, revealing Indra.
He gripped his spear firmly, he had been equipped with his golden armor for some time.
Now the last piece has made its appearance.
"[Dimension Lost - Balance Breaker]"
"[Reverse World of the Crooked Man]"
The black mist moved and expanded at impossible speeds. Covering the entire world in a blink. Replacing the natural world with this newly created dimension.
Samuel Lancaster's own dimension. His own sub-species Balance Breaker.
As a result of his personal interpretation of Dimension Lost, a darker take on the Sacred Gear.
After all, you are trapping someone. Even previous wielders do the same.
To kill.
This Balance Breaker is not complicated.
The dimension is as large as the Earth. But everything is like inside a mirror. A true reflection of the planet.
Nobody can leave unless Samuel allows it or Samuel dies. Nobody on the outside can break or interrupt it. Nobody can teleport in any way with the exception of the wielder.
That's it.
The perfect stage for these two.
No escape. No teleports.
If Samuel got more time he would add more rules to his dimension, but right now this is what he needs for Indra.
The reverse world ruled by a lone crooked man.
Indra looked around, lowering his glasses and letting out an impressed whistle. With an amused smile, as if he had seen the most interesting thing in recent years.
Samuel put his hand on the railing of his balcony and jumped down.
(Image)
As he walked towards the Heavenly Emperor.
Indra stood there, watching as the golden lion calmly approached him. He finally understood one thing when he saw it.
'That warmonger crow, that good for nothing devil woman and her army, the god of lies and his mutt... Cao Cao. None of them have a chance. None in the slightest.' Indra thought.
Indra was fully aware of the magnitude of the adversary in front of him.
"Samuel Lancaster." Indra didn't say but stated to the man. The god didn't even need to ask, who else could it be?
"Indra." The strongest human of history replied.
Both locked eyes as they stood.
The strongest human of history and the Heavenly Emperor.
Some will say Indra was the strongest god, not counting the Great Red or Ophis since they are isolated by their own choice and do not interfere with creation in any form... but Shiva exists.
"First of all. Congratulations on your eighteenth birthday, Samuel Lancaster." Indra said casually with a smile to Samuel, throwing him off.
It was August 10th, his birthday.
Samuel, after a bit, let out some low giggles.
"Ah... indeed it was today. Guess there are too many coincidences after all. I didn't see that one." Samuel said as he laughed more, realizing something and throwing Indra off.
Indra let Samuel finish.
"I assume you know why I'm here?" Indra said.
"To try to kill me and recover the Sacred Gears because I was a pain in the ass for Khaos Brigade for too long already?" Samuel probed the god.
Indra frowned, but only at the "try" implication.
"That was what I intended first... but it will be a waste to kill such a divine talent like you." The god of storms recognized the mortal.
Samuel stared, already predicting how things would go.
"Then?" The golden lion said.
"Come to the Hindu Pantheon." Indra said with a big smile.
Samuel got quiet.
He remained silent in the face of this shameless god.
Indra knows Samuel is worth his weight in gold.
He doesn't care that Cao Cao and his group were eliminated from life. If they died that easily, then they never mattered.
Samuel Lancaster is worth a thousand times more than them, and now he has all their Sacred Gears.
"The greatest pantheon. We have the strongest and greatest gods, myself and Shiva... why not join the greatest pantheon as the greatest human, Samuel Lancaster?" Indra reached out his arm in a fanfare invitation to the golden lion, tempting him, but he meant it. In his heart, he believed that part.
"I can offer everything. Women, status, money, power. You will not lack anything anymore. You can have all the Sacred Gears if you join." Indra continued with his honeyed words.
"I know you lost your family... I know how hard it can be." His face grew serious. "That's why this is a good chance for you to take."
"Everyone will love you. I can even love you as one of my children, Samuel Lancaster. This is my offer to you." Indra finished.
The God of Storms gave the biggest offer in millennia. To a human.
Samuel himself was a bit surprised by the offer.
"And if I refuse?" He asked with a smile under the helmet, testing Indra.
"For what? To serve a godless pantheon on the verge of extinction? Several powers are already discussing how they will devour this pantheon." The god said in a cold voice.
"Do not test me, brat. Mark my words. If you refuse my generous offer, you will die as a nameless forgotten fool from another extinct pantheon." Indra said, not angry but with a face devoid of any emotions.
The silence stretched on, the tension was palpable...
Until it was broken.
"I refuse."
Samuel said calmly.
A scowl appeared on Indra's face.
"You dare to challenge me? Disgusting mortal. Why throw away your life in this meaningless endeavor?"
"I want to kill you." Samuel simply stated.
"Why is that?" Indra perked up, curious.
"You are one of two people i have in my sights. I hate you. I hate how you are. I hate what you represent. The things you did out of envy of Shiva. The manipulations. The evil schemes." Samuel listed his judgment. He didn't list the canon stuff that would happen if Indra was not stopped here.
"You are one of the four strongest, but still you are worse than trash. Mark my words, Indra. After I kill you... the entire Khaos Brigade will go next."
Samuel knew Indra was the strongest of the inferior mindset. One of the reasons this fight matters to him.
"From Rizevim and the other devils. From Hades and Nyx to his brood of dark gods. And whatever other shitty members, I will not even bother mentioning them."
"I will murder them all."
The future god stated, and for the first time showed his madness and obsession on the matter.
Indra widened his eyes at how much he knows.
'...Insolent fool... how do you know these things!'
There is no way Lancaster somehow peeked... bypassing many gods detecting spells...
'A traitor?' Indra thought of that possibility, but his mind concentrated on the problem he had in front of him right now.
The god of storms simply took off his glasses slowly with a smile.
"You sure know a lot, Samuel Lancaster. I'm impressed. Truly." Indra said.
"But you talk as if you personally know me. I don't think we ever met before. Do we?" Indra asked, putting his glasses on his shirt. Genuinely curious.
"You don't know me. But you will." Samuel said with an ethereal voice.
"There it is again... it's rare to see it... that hatred." The god stated, pointing a finger, looking at his eyes, already ready.
(BGM: Devil May Cry 3 - Divine Hate)
At that, Samuel threw a punch at his face. His blow blurring.
Indra blocked, but was thrown many meters back, passing through a lot of houses due to the immense physical strength of Samuel.
Wall after wall, Indra stopped. His guard up, covered in dust as he looked at Samuel.
Eyes met eyes, then came a mutual understanding.
Samuel put his spear in his inventory and glided, covered in golden thunder, at Indra.
Indra did the same as he sprinted, covered in blue lightning.
Both clashed in a swarm of golden and blue rays that shot out in all directions.
They are gonna beat the crap out of each other.
They exchanged punches. A blur of blows on both sides.
The shockwaves cracked the floor beneath their feet in a spiderweb of fractures.
Dust was blown back and forth because of the punches of the deadly duel.
The two were testing each other, using only physical strength.
Fist. Knee. Block. Counter. Elbow. Kick.
Samuel started to put more and more strength...
Indra frowned. He started to feel it. Parts of his wrists and legs turned red from blocking some of Samuel's blows.
'Mmmh. Human abomination.' Indra said in his mind.
The god of storms was surprised to see a human with this physical strength, a strength that can keep up with him and was slowly surpassing him as time went on.
Samuel barely dodged a treacherous fist.
"Ah, so we are using martial arts now? Already giving up on the physical power display?" Samuel taunted.
After all, using physical strength to eliminate enemies was the easiest thing to do. Samuel many times just used his strength to kill low-tier mobs.
It is the strong that require delicacy, the ones that require effort.
Indra was quiet. Super focused, his arrogance disappeared because he understood one thing very well after the exchange.
If he underestimated Samuel Lancaster, then the lion would eat him alive.
The god adopted a stance. A peculiar stance for combat.
Samuel focused too.
'Kalaripayattu.'
An Indian martial art.
But Samuel doesn't have the many assimilations from martial artists for nothing.
Indra was an old god. His experience is vast.
Samuel assumed Indra knows every martial art like him.
And seeing that personalized pose, it would seem that's the case.
'...Well, almost every martial art.' Samuel thought.
Samuel adopted his own stance.
Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist.
His favorite martiarl art.
One of the supreme martial arts in all the multiverse.
Samuel really believed that. Actually more than that. For him it was the BEST martial art. It was a hill he would die on.
Perfect offense and defense.
Many people don't know this, but this martial art is the killer of low-tier universes.
Even some low mid-tier universes. Depending on the user's skill level, of course.
Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist (WSRSF) > MHA
WSRSF > Baki
WSRSF > Harry Potter
WSRSF > Game of Thrones
WSRSF > The Witcher
WSRSF > RWBY
It is less efficient if your enemy is a quadruped or a monster with an unnatural body.
But if the enemy has a humanoid form... it's so fucking over.
And this martial art was developed by a human, craziest thing of all.
Samuel rushed at Indra.
The exchange of blows started.
Unlike the previous one, which was only about strength and speed, this one was about pure experience and talent.
Indra, from his part, was combining multiple martial arts. The god of storms didn't sit his ass like many other gods. He put in the work.
Samuel was countering and deflecting every single blow of Indra.
The martial art created by Bang remained supreme for now...
Indra widened his eyes when he almost hit himself because of Samuel and his unknown martial art.
The two of them were almost dancing, showing their martial prowess.
The Heavenly Emperor tried switching different styles, different martial arts, but nobody could break him.
But Indra was accumulating damage, from red marks from the blows to bruises.
Then Samuel decided to up his game.
!!!
Suddenly, cutting marks appeared on Indra's body as his blood splashed around, surprising the god again.
Samuel extended one hand as he rotated his fingers in a circular motion, manipulating the air.
'Of course it will not be that easy...' Samuel said in his mind.
'I can cut him but not chop his body this easily... a godlike body, huh.'
Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist.
A lethal martial art that was focused only on offense.
The martial art created by Bang's brother, Bomb.
Samuel continued his relentless and brutal assault on Indra.
In his right hand he was using Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist, and in his left Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist.
Indeed. This absolute bastard was dual wielding martial arts.
His Garou assimilation shining bright in the display.
If he had more time to practice, he could have used four at once, like Awakened Garou when he transformed into a monster. But he received a human Garou from the gacha. But the potential is there.
It's still a possible dream to use the Monster Calamity God Slayer Fist. It's a shame he can't use it in this situation, which is what the name represents. But it is what it is.
The slaughter kept going, Indra's body was being hit and cut. The god could barely block or dodge some blows, not to mention trying to counteract.
Indra's Hawaiian shirt almost disappeared because of the rain of blows, only a few tatters remained.
Samuel had already read his flow and his martial arts.
Perhaps he won't be able to use Monster Calamity God Slayer Fist... but.
"Cross Fang Dragon Slayer Fist."
Samuel said the named movement out of respect as he used that movement on the god. The combination of both brothers martial arts.
It suited him because he was THE fucking dragon slayer.
Indra, almost forgetting what it was, felt it again with strong intensity, he almost forgot how it felt.
Pain.
"AAAAAH!" Indra screamed in pain. Losing his cool, he rushed in a surprise display of speed to Samuel, grabbing both of his hands.
Indra glowed blue, he used his divine aura. He couldn't surpass him with pure strength, neither with experience or martial arts... so he used his divinity.
Even with his hands held by Indra, Samuel was able to use Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist, circularly peeling Indra's arm like the skin of an apple, revealing the raw flesh beneath.
Both of them quickly locked hands.
(Image)
Indra exploded in lightning with the intention of frying him alive.
Samuel raised his aura and magic as he responded the same as Indra in an omnidirectional explosion of lightning.
The whole city of Kuoh in the dimension was destroyed.

- Third Person POV -
The DxD team, Vali team, and the adults were watching the fight from outside the mirror world, in the real one.
As soon as a whole fucking dimension appeared out of nowhere, they came.
They didn't think too much or too hard about the source.
It was Samuel Lancaster.
But only some bits and pieces.
Those who were more experienced, being the adults, could see it more clearly.
Azazel watched Samuel clashing with the god...
He just grabbed it and drank the whole bottle.
"...Azazel." Michael lightly reproached him.
"Ahahah sorry bro~, but this is bonkers. He is keeping up—no—" He shook his head. "Winning against fucking INDRA!" The fallen signaled to the mirror dimension in disbelief.
"Maybe we are getting old?" Azazel asked with a hint of humor, passing another bottle to Serafall.
"Never ☆! Speak for yourself, old man, I'm forever eighteen~" The eternal magical girl said as she drank from the bottle.
Her younger sister facepalmed with both hands as she looked up, very tired of her troublesome big sister's antics.
'Can't she see the situation we are in? No- our whole pantheon is in.' Sona cursed in her mind.
They kept watching in astonishment.
Then Samuel's calm voice was clearly heard.
"Cross Fang Dragon Slayer Fist."
Azazel and Vali blinked twice.
Bikou just whistled.
Michael stared in shock as Indra screamed in pain.
Sirzechs just sighed. He wanted to help somehow, but the mirror dimension was far beyond anyone's capabilities.
"I was right about it. Even if he dismisses it or says he was not. He is a dragon slayer." Albion said.
"Truly. I don't understand why he lied." Ddraig added his two cents.
After all, the two oldest dragons felt it in their being.
The most inexperienced teens of the group were squinting their eyes in concentration to try to see the other side.
"I don't get him." Issei sighed, uncrossing his arms, still a bit frustrated from the other day.
"He is quite peculiar, yes. From practically invisible in school to... this." Kiba signaled.
Kiba was his classmate after all. He was the one who talked to him the most at school.
"How was he there?" Azazel asked, curious.
"He was... quiet. Never really talked unless someone started first. He always answered with monosyllables. After class he quickly disappeared out of existence." Kiba explained with a smile. "Some in our class called him Ghost Boy."
"So he was in the going home club, huh." Azazel said, taking another sip.
"Then he stopped hiding his true skills." Sona pointed out her conclusion.
Everyone's mind went to think the same thing.
'How can a human become this strong and fly under the radar for so long?'
"Guess he is the most talented person that walked this earth. Even more than me." Sirzechs said with a calm smile.
Everyone looked at him, because he was considered one of the most talented devils in all of history.
"...Talent? I wonder about that." Azazel said, caressing his chin.
He was not easily convinced... he knew there was something more.
He knew that given Samuel enough time, he would always pull out some bullshit out of his ass.
Lies, skills, some secret weapon which, coincidentally, his family treasury had stored away.
It's fucking weird.
Azazel was starting to notice some things. Becoming a nooticer related to the enigma called Samuel Lancaster.
"So kiddo, what do you think?" Azazel asked Vali.
Vali was watching the fight. Totally focused, fully locked in, a legendary fight he didn't want to miss for anything in the world.
He didn't even bother to reply.
"Va-kun, you are doing that face again... that face you make when you want to fight someone." Lavinia said to him.
Vali continued watching the fight, unmoved, making her sigh.
"Hahaha." Azazel laughed again, the alcohol having some effect.
"But I'm curious about what you think, girl. You are the one who knows him the most." Azazel said, pointing at Xenovia with the bottle in his hand.
Everyone looked at the girl who was sitting next to Asia while watching the fight.
Xenovia blinked, a bit surprised at being the focus of the whole group.
"He will win. No doubts about it." She said it like the most normal thing you can say.
Everyone got quiet for a bit.
That unnerving absolute confidence in her man.
'Ain't that scary though?' Azazel said in his mind.
"Oh shit." Bikou said when the whole mirror dimension was covered in light.
"Oh shit indeed." Azazel said, looking at the lightning exploding.
He would need more alcohol for what was about to come.
"...Hey guys?" Serafall caught everyone's attention.
"Yeah?"
"...Why are the stars visible in broad daylight? It's only 4 pm." Serafall pointed out.
Everyone looked up.
"..."
---
- Third person POV -
Samuel and Indra tanked each other's thunder.
Finally, Samuel took some damage for the first time since he came to this world, but the dragon slayer armor has protection against lightning.
Indra was burned too... he withstood it because he was the god of the storm. But he was hurt, some smoke could be seen coming from parts of his body thanks to Samuel.
As they both locked hands, Indra turned his head back. He was no stranger to brutality when it came to fighting.
Samuel noticed this as he decided to meet him...head on.
The two of them butted heads brutally, sending a shockwave.
Samuel's helmet cracked at the forehead. Indra, on his part, started bleeding from his forehead from the impact.
Both groaned in pain.
Indra took off his hands as he was about to do a quick sidestep... but Samuel grabbed his head on both sides with his arms.
The god widened his eyes as Lancaster threw his head back, preparing for another even more brutal, devastating headbutt.
Indra punched his plexus trying to get away, but it didn't work. He lowered his forehead, bracing for impact.
At the impact... he could swear he saw the lion helmet with the mouth open... like doing a silent roar before the helmet broke into two halves.
Or maybe Samuel hit his head too hard.
Samuel quickly threw his broken helmet into his inventory.
Indra's vision got blurry as he did a sidestep to get away... or at least that's what he tried to do.
Because instead of backing down, a mysterious force pushed him forward.
Samuel used his telekinesis, pushing him forward...when he was in range...
He kicked his balls.
Indra let out a pained groan as his eyes almost popped from his skull because of the pain.
He used his divine aura to wrap himself in lightning and leave, finally getting away. Indra wanted some room to breathe...
But the same force grabbed him again, trying to push him forward.
As the god of storms pushed backward, Samuel intensified his control as many veins in his forehead popped.
Indra was pushed toward Samuel again.
"YOU FUCKING BASTARD!" The god roared because he knew... he would do it again.
Samuel kicked Indra in the balls again.
This time Indra fell to the floor, grabbing his crotch.
It was a miracle his balls didn't explode...or worse.
Indra threw another big barrage of lightning at Samuel.
He took advantage while the lion dodged and took a breath...
Changing his clothes, putting on a golden armor with a red cape and a very peculiar crown... his divine armor.
And of course he pulled out something else, his spear.
Vajra.
Samuel took out his Dragon Slayer spear too.
"I'm going to skin you alive, you disgrace-" Indra started.
"Shut your bitch ass up." But Samuel cut him off.
Indra quickly attacked with his spear in a circular motion, breaking the swords summoned by Samuel in one movement. The lion quickly dispelled the swords and put the Terraprisma back in his inventory. The quick surprise attack didn't work.
That weapon would not work on him, after all, Terraria is a mid-tier world.
Samuel used his famous dragon slayer gliding, rushing at Indra with the spear covered in lightning.
Indra, using his divine aura, channeled the thunder into himself and into his spear.
Both spears clashed...and the dragon slayer spearhead exploded into pieces.
Samuel quickly dodged a stab to his neck, taking distance.
Indra had a small smile on his face now, seeing Samuel's broken spear.
'Guess this is the limit of the spear... it's the Vajra after all.'
The god was preparing a nasty thunder in his spear...Samuel's instincts flared, telling him that he shouldn't be struck by that.
Samuel extended his hand to the sky... only one finger pointing upward.
A ball of fire was growing.
The Heavenly Emperor widened his eyes at the magical power.
The heat was unbearable, and it kept getting worse, melting nearby metals in the surroundings.
"Cruel sun."
Samuel threw it emotionless at Indra.
Indra gritted his teeth as he shot his thunder from his spear.
The sun crashed with the thunder, destroying even more of the city.
Samuel's sun started to devour the thunder... gaining speed. Samuel didn't stand idly by, he continued to apply pressure to his sun, similar to when Escanor threw it at Estarossa.
(Image)
'...No.' Indra thought helplessly.
Indra blocked the sun with his spear as he was thrown away.
"Pride Flare."
The god of storms was engulfed in fire in a violent explosion.
Indra fell to his knees in the big crater generated by the sun.
He was exhausted. His body was beaten, cut, electrocuted, his groin still ached, and now he had burns all over his body. His armor was scorched.
He stood up slowly...
And the man was 40 meters away from him, looking down at him from the top of the crater.
Another forgotten emotion resurfaced in Indra's mind.
Fear.
At that moment, Indra felt true terror.
Indra, in his mind, couldn't comprehend how a mere human could be this strong.
He was starting to believe Samuel was a god in disguise.
He didn't understand... he didn't comprehend it, it was unknown to him.
Samuel Lancaster defied all logic.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Indra screamed. The fear was quickly replaced by anger.
Indra flew straight up to the sky.
The clouds turned black, and it began to rain violently.
The sky was filled with lightning and thunder. Indra began to use his divinity to its fullest potential.
Thunder rained from the sky and started to attack Samuel... trying to give him a divine punishment. The Heavenly Emperor himself began to shoot from his own spear.
Indra was doing a desperation attack.
'...This is bad.' Samuel said in his mind, dodging the thunder while flying in the sky at high speeds.
With a movement of his arms, several metal objects began to fly towards Indra. He was using his magnetism manipulation.
From sharpened pipes with pointy ends, motorcycles, cars, everything metallic.
Indra scoffed while his thunder pulverized the objects. He was no longer surprised by the amount of stupid things Samuel pull out from his ass.
He kept throwing random metallic things at Indra. He was even throwing shrapnel at him in his blind spots. Even though Indra was tanking it easily, all the damage accumulated.
Samuel remained calm, dodging the multiple thunders.
After all, he made his preparations.
Not only did he work on the Sacred Gears... but he made 3 new divine protections with his Reinhard template.
He was stronger when he was fighting alone.
He was stronger when fighting accompanied.
And the last one and most important...
He was stronger when fighting a god.
"DIE PEST!" Indra screamed in anger.
The whole sky was filled with lightning and thunder as far as the eye could see.
'...Shit, can i tank that? Better not.' Samuel was preparing himself to make the dodge of his life.
All the lightning bolts attacked him from all directions.
Samuel Lancaster was going to receive a devastating attack. He can't dodge that, you can't dodge every single—
"SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKE" Samuel screamed in a state of madness and euphoria.
His light brown hair became bright golden.
He used Killua God Speed.
He pulled out from his inventory his Baran Demon King Longsword and started to make circular arm movements around his body. The nature of the sword also helped him.
The lightning and the black clouds enveloped his body and feet.
Samuel Lancaster was riding the storm.
(Image)
Just like the Nameless King...
'Hope this is good enough, Ornstein, flying just like your liege.' Samuel thought with a smile on his face.
A small tribute to Ornstein, one of his favorite templates.
Using Indra's storm to jumpstart this feat and use it against him.
A perfect adaptation in critical moments, it's no wonder it had the templates of Garou and Ayanokouji, two monsters of adaptation.
This is a feat only possible for him, thanks to his magic, his control, his knowledge, and templates.
'Yeah, I can finish with THAT.' Samuel thought.
Flying at an impossibly fast speed, he shot into the sky, to the highest point, touching the limit of the dimension, through the storm.
Indra widened his eyes again, seeing the feat he made, and now using his own storm against him to boost himself even more and fly out of range.
Up there, Samuel was ready...
Then, like a meteorite, he started to fall from the sky...
(Image)
It began to gain more and more speed.
The god of storms squinted his eyes, concentrating the storm on Lancaster, ready to attack him when he was within range, halting his meteoric descent in its tracks.
Then, for the first time in this battle.
Samuel teleported.
...right behind Indra.
The god realized it when he felt the sword pierce him from behind, going through his chest.
(Image)
But not only that... the shockwave broke every bone in his body, with the exception of his skull.
Indra, the Heavenly Emperor, the god of storms, the god of war.
Fell from the sky. The God of Heaven.
Defeated.
His body plummeted to Earth, creating a new crater.
Wounded, broken, defeated. The fallen god lay there, watching as Samuel slowly descended.
Samuel began to approach Indra.
"You think you can kill me!?" spat Indra on the ground. "The entire Hindu pantheon will hunt you down!" He threatened him. It was a miracle in itself that Indra could speak in his condition, showing his cockroach-like resilience, a godly body indeed.
"I don't care."
"You will start a war then? Your worthless pantheons against us? You are a crazy mad dog Samuel Lancaster! YOU CAN'T KILL EVERYONE." He spat some blood in that scream.
"I don't care."
Indra got quiet... the fear came back stronger than ever this time.
"A human... cannot kill a god... and y-you can't kill me." Indra gasped for air in pain and terror.
"I. Don't. Care."
Samuel was next to Indra now. He knelt down close to him.
He took off his gloves.
And he began to punch the fallen god with his bare fists.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, and it kept going. He didn't stop.
Indra's face was deformed, it was pure blood, raw flesh, and bruises.
He kept going. He didn't stop.
Indra finally understood. Not only did he lose the fight, now he understood that he was going to lose his life, and that's how it would all end.
The god looked to the sky, that heaven beyond the created dimension... his heaven.
Only to see that it was no longer his.
The sky was covered in stars... as he finally understood when the stars gazed back at him.
And so he spoke his last words to Samuel Lancaster.
"Curse you. God of the Cosmos."
.
..
...
Seventy, seventy-one, seventy-two, seventy-three.
Samuel saw that Indra's face was now a paste of meat. He died a few minutes ago.
And he finally stopped.
Samuel stood up slowly...
He looked at his blood-stained hands and sighed. He was not just tired...
Samuel put his hands on his face... clutched his face in anguish.
He didn't mind showing weakness in private. All the carnage he had caused since coming into this world had taken its toll.
Dragging his hands over his face, he composed himself, letting out another tired sigh.
He allowed himself this... his last weakness as a human, because he knew that now it was time... for something more. Something else.
The crooked man dispelled his dimension, returning to the real world.
The world stopped.
Everyone present froze upon seeing Indra's lifeless and mutilated body.
But Samuel didn't look at them, nor did he pay them any attention.
He was looking at the stars.
And the stars saw him too.
They saw it. Not only the divine blood shredded under them.
They also witnessed the deicide.
Samuel walked a little... his head was a whirlwind of information he didn't understand at first.
He placed one foot in the air, and thus a golden ethereal step materialized.
Everyone was watching this in deathly silence.
Azazel was the first to understand what was happening as he put his hands on his head, eyes wide open.
Samuel took another step... and another and another.
He began to climb the golden stairway to heaven. To the sky.
To the stars.
Samuel continued climbing calmly, never looking back.
His apotheosis was about to begin.

Author notes 2:
Hell of a chapter, huh?
Let's talk right away about the first topic.
- This chapter.
Well, a whole ass chapter with the Indra fight? Not really, I put other things too, to add some sauce... I am satisfied with this chap.
Also... i understand that Samuel was much stronger than Indra, he could have ended the fight sooner and even overwhelmed him more easily...but I wanted to make it more spectacular and for the fight to last longer.
I used the template skills Samuel has and even some techniques... I wanted to write this for a while, hehe. I loved writing new Balance Breakers.
In the next chapter, we will take a deeper look at his ascension and what will happen during his Apotheosis.
I'm also going to give an "ending" to his past life and the life of the original Samuel Lancaster, and one more little surprise regarding the gacha. I think you will like my interpretation regarding these two themes.
There are other important things too, but oh well... wink I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise, muahaha.
Next topic... oh boy, i will rant.
- Harems.
First of all, I'm not going to lie to you.
I'm from the no harem sect. But it wasn't always like that.
In my teens, I quite liked the harem fantasy... I had watched several anime of this theme (Highschool DxD among many others), and I won't lie, when I was a hormonal teen I loved it. It's a fantasy that is very common among men.
But anyway, years passed, now in my twenties... I see a harem trope and I feel nothing, it's even starting to annoy me because they ruin the stories.
It's difficult managing a harem as a writer. (Imagine managing one in real life lol.)
They always fall into the same traps.
It's crazy how they write women, bro... hahaha, the harem of women accepts being in a polyamorous relationship as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
They don't even bother to give a good reason. They are just okay with it. These authors are horny af fr fr.
Has it ever happened to you that you enter a fanfic, you go to the first chapter or the auxiliary chapter, and they already have a LIST of the harem members...
A giant list with 10 members. I say ten, and I'm being merciful to those authors.
Literal gooner writing.
I'm 100% sure when I see a list like that... I'm wasting my fucking time.
Another thing that many authors fall into is precisely that... the size of the harem.
You can't juggle so many harem members in one story.
And that's where several problems loom on the horizon in harem fanfics/stories.
I'm going to list and describe them a little. (those I remember)
-Favoritism.
The author shows favoritism towards certain girls, ignoring others, then when he stops ignoring them, it's just lemon scenes and that's it.
And honestly, I understand it, the author is human, has his preferences, it's normal for that to happen.
But the truth is, the reading isn't enjoyable.
And that brings us back to the point I made earlier, as an author, you can't juggle so many women in one story.
- A girl nobody likes enters the harem. (can be single pairing too)
I remember when I read here an Invisible fanfic... and the author paired the MC with Amber (those who don't know Amber, she's practically Chernobyl because of how toxic she is)... poor little bro, he had no idea what he was doing. The fanfic was deleted because of the backlash.
People didn't care about anything, they ate him alive. Maybe he wanted to do character development, maybe not... but oh well, it is what it is.
God save your soul, author lol.
- 24/7 MC thinking with his dick.
Imagine having the chance to go to another world with a cheat... and you focus TOTALLY on the girls and let your head down there make all the decisions.
Not only are you wasting the chance, the chance is being wasted on you.
We don't see this kind of fanfiction much these days... and hopefully we won't see it anymore.
- Lemon scenes out of place.
The other day i read a fight scene in a fic... then with a shitty excuse the MC started to fuck the villain (female villain)...
It's so fucking over. That nonsense killed the moment for me, to be honest.
Another thing that comes to mind is fanfics has too many sexual scenes, even worse when a chapter comes out and it's only a lemon.
Those are the ones I remember for now. If you know more situations, share them in the comments.
- My opinion/my advice:
If you want to write a harem fanfic, keep in mind what I said above. Personally, I think the magic number for a harem is 2, but if you want to stretch it, make it 3.
And be very careful not to fall into the lust and greed for women.
Many authors fall into this trap and the story becomes a grab bag of women, from "main" heroines to more "secondary" girls.
Not all women have to be in a relationship with your protagonist, and forcing that feels very unnatural.
And yeah yeah, I am aware that these stories are popular, after all, sex sells.
But the story is crap.
Just because something is popular doesn't mean it's good.
Anyway, that's it for the rant.
See you in the next chapter.
