"C-Can you at least let me go? It's awkward walking up the stairs like this." Cass mumbled, feeling embarrassed as he pushed against Lucian's stomach, trying to gently break free from Lucian's grasp.
He wasn't really trying that hard, but Lucian could tell. So could Edgar, who was watching Cass' shy reaction with wide, blue eyes. Lucian's expression was softer, warmer, and yet somehow, more animalistic.
They had climbed one set of stairs, but Cass wasn't sure he could handle walking up another two sets of stairs the same way. Lucian had longer legs then Cass, meaning that their bodies rubbed against each other in a strange, stomach-churning way that made Cass' legs shake. It was the sound of the fabric rubbing against each other, the feel of the heat against his skin and the breathing of the two men beside him mixed with Cass' own.
