Cass didn't understand how such a shitty day could follow what had been such a wonderful night.
It all started with the morning. Waking up had been great. Maybe he'd woken up a little late, but he was in Lucian's arms. He had been safe and warm, loved. Then, Sam had shown up with the damn tonic and everything went to hell in a handbasket rather quickly.
He found out that his eyes hadn't turned back, they had remained the same. The colour of his eyes, the white part, had gone black. Probably permanently in Cass' opinion, but Sam had a feeling he could change it back once his transformation into a sex demon was over. Cass did not like those ominous words.
He also found out that his 'powers' whatever the fuck they were, had gotten stronger. To Cass it looked like he had the ability to make people attracted to him. That made perfect sense since that was his demon origin story, but he hated that it worked on everyone.
