The broken gate behind him opened a little wider.
The black sea rose.
Selene's Spear of First Dawn descended.
The spear and the abyssal gate collided.
There was no immediate explosion.
Instead, the golden-white spear pushed into the dark gate inch by inch, while the gate tried to swallow it into its depth. Radiance and abyssal pressure fought silently at first, then the entire collision erupted into a terrifying shockwave that struck the arena barrier from within.
Golden-white light tried to purify the abyss.
The abyss tried to drag the light downward.
Selene gritted her teeth, blood slowly flowing from the corner of her mouth. Her Heavenly Luminance Genesis burned brighter, but her energy was clearly being consumed at a terrifying speed. Ervin also did not look relaxed. His face was slightly paler, and the hand gripping his spear had tightened until his knuckles whitened.
