Ervin's eyes sharpened slightly.
"Good control."
Rosaline's expression remained serious. "I learned from my fight with Max that if I give someone like you space, I lose."
She raised her hand again.
"Dawn Sovereign Sanctuary, Royal Mandate of Purifying Light."
A massive golden-pink pillar descended toward Ervin, carrying purification and sealing authority together. The light tried to purify his abyssal aura before it fully awakened, but Ervin's spear struck upward, and a dark spiral formed around the tip.
"Abyss Spear Art, Hollow Descent Thrust."
The spear pierced into the golden-pink pillar.
The collision shook the stage.
Rosaline's sanctuary brightened, and the rose-gold throne behind her released greater pressure. Ervin was forced back two steps, which immediately made the spectators realize that Rosaline's control was working. She could not overpower him directly, but her sanctuary was restricting his rhythm and forcing him to spend more power to move.
