After a few moments, Max clenched his fist and slammed it into the ground.

A violent wave of black flames erupted from his fist and spread outward.
The flames were far more concentrated than before. Their devouring power became sharper, heavier, and more explosive. The impact caused the Dimension of Time to tremble faintly, and for a moment, the surrounding space rippled from the force of the release.
Max looked at his fist in surprise.
"This is good."
The second use of the void rings was compression.
He could incorporate different elements or powers into the rings, and the rings would compress those powers to an extreme degree. Once released, the result would be far stronger than simply attacking directly with the same energy.
For someone like Max, who controlled many elements, bloodline powers, divine abilities, and pseudo cosmic paths, this function was terrifyingly useful.
He could use the void rings as amplifiers.
He could use them as seals.
