Primordial Flames didn't simply burn. They refined, purified and returned things to a more original state.
When Max used black flames, the result was violent and direct. The black flames devoured energy, corroded defenses, consumed vitality, and turned everything they touched into fuel. But the Primordial Flames worked differently.
They burned through impurities. They weakened corruption. They refined unstable energy. They even sharpened Max's own understanding of law when he used them with restraint.
For enemies, that purity could turn terrifying. A defense built on unstable laws might get refined until it collapsed. A devil's corrupted power might get purified until its foundation cracked.
A bloodline curse might burn away from the inside. Even a strong body could be attacked not by destroying it outright, but by burning away the hidden flaws holding its strength together.
