Chapter 45: 5th Ring of Hell -
Gluttony
Previously on Seven Rings of Hell the heat of hell was picking up as Tokito or more like Medusa completely dominated her Ring but she's still on the loose on the lands of hell. Will we see Tokito again? We'll see...
{Now it goes to Satarou's point of view}
Satarou: [So this... Is hell?]
{Stands over the hill the smell of fast food stenching the air, the souls of this wasteland all have an insatiable hunger}
Satarou: [These people, they lost control... To there hunger, no matter how much they consume it'll never be enough...] (He thinks of how his life) [I'm just lik them... Although I'm not consuming food, I have an endless hunger to be better than others, to constantly be the strongest... Because... I'm weak... I cover my cracks with power, I try to make other people heal me, I'm truly... A broken soul.] (Satarou says as he walks among the souls almost feeling home among them)
{But Onaraka's voice calls out to him}
Onaraka: [Babe, you can't talk about yourself like this.] (Her kind breeze soothes his tough exterior)
Satarou: [But...] (As he almost sinks into the souls)
Onaraka: [No buts! You can't let all your training, all your blood sweat and tears to become the man before me, and your the man that I want to spend the rest of my life with. Don't fight to selfish desires but for you, for you to find the answer to the question you've always asked.]
Satarou: [What does it mean to be strong? I've faced many people in the ring but I still haven't found the answer to that question.]
Onaraka: [Then let's find that answer together.] (She says pulling him out of the sea of souls)
Satarou: I will be the best there is. I will find the answer to what it means to be strong. (He proclaims the souls all back away from the sheer intensity behind his voice)
{The Warlord finally raises from the ground drenches in his own sweat and oils}
WoG: So... Your my final opponent?
Satarou: What do you mean by last? (He says keeping his distance)
WoG: Don't you realize? We are in the final generation, the prophecy states it so...
Satarou: You know of the prophecy?
WoG: The Warlord's know just as much as the elementals... (He says his voice sounding congested) Don't let my appearance deceive you... I will be the strongest opponent you'll ever face! (He exclaims as he reveals his body although has a lot of body fat he still has enormous strength)
Satarou: [I can't underestimate him.] (He takes a deep breath remembering everything he's been through) [I've got to give it everything I've got!] (He plants his stance)
{Satarou's iconic peek a boo style takes full display}
WoG: [I have to win, I can't let this mortal succeed. The prophecy must be stopped or else Bill will rule all of reality!] (He reveals the reason all the Warlord's protect the Rings with there lives)
{They stare each other down}
Satarou: [I'm gonna set the pace.] (His legs build up tension)
{Satarou springs straight into to close quarters with the Warlord}
Satarou: [He's at least 2feet taller than me, I have to throw a body shot.] (He lands a lead hand body blow)
{But the Warlord is completely unfazed}
WoG: That tickles... (He menacingly grins)
Satarou: [He'll be laughing, but He's never faced the greatest body blows you'll ever face.] (Still holding his composure as he drills in body blows Into the Warlord's belly)
{But the Warlord's belly glows more and more from all the punches}
WoG: That's a good massage but... (As he belly bumps Satarou away)
{All the energy built up in his stomach was released in that belly bump}
Satarou: [What the... So his body fat can consume all physical damage and return it back? That's not fair!] (He thinks as he realizes how tough this will be)
WoG: What's wrong? You ready to give up? (As his heavy foot steps shake the ground underneath him)
Satarou: [I can't let him assert himself on me or else I'll never be able to win.] (He holds his composer and dashes back in) [If Body shots don't work I have to hit up top!] (He bounces up with a gazelle hook that connects cleanly)
{But even that was absorbed}
WoG: The look on your face is the best part, I can tell you were thinking "If he can absorb body shots he can't absorb hits to the head" And you really got confident... But no matter where you punch me with power I won't fall to it. (He says as he slaps his belly)
Satarou: [Damn it! What do I do here? All of my best shots won't affect him...] (He realizes something) [Wait... He said power shots are out but...] (He charges in once again)
WoG: So your choosing your death? (His congested voice rings throughout Satarou's mind)
Satarou: [I remember when I was young, I was obsessed with the human body and how it functioned, my heart desires to be a doctor but... life has other plans, when our shitty parents got in that accident just leaving me and Tokito. I had to quit school after my second year and completely committed myself to the ring... Now.] (as he lands smaller body blows on the Warlord's Vitals) [I can use everything I learned about the body in the ring!]
{The Warlord can't absorb these little blows}
WoG: Why are you love tapping me? (He says as he genuinely feels these body blows)
Satarou: [The body's vitals can't be covered in too much fat, and if his body is like any other being. Then...] (As he lands procise blows on all of the Warlord's Vitals organs with surgical accuracy)
{Slowly but surely the Warlord is losing steam as his face turns pale}
WoG: Why you... (As he's literally choking on his words)
Satarou: What you're experiencing is called "Hypoxia" a condition where the body isn't receiving enough oxygen, which leads to this blueish tint across the body called "Cyanosis".
WoG: Damn you... D... (He says laying on the ground grovelling in pain)
Satarou: Wow, you can't forget that you gotta keep breathing or your hearts gonna stop. Or maybe your gonna have a clogged artery from all that fat on your body and get a stroke. You are gonna croak like a frog any minute. And I'm the only one who can stop it. (He says the tables have been completely turned)
WoG: [No... I just... I can't let it end it end like this... Me the Warlord of Gluttony grovelling at the feet of a mortal... I can't... I CAN'T!!] (His ring glows)
Satarou: [What the...] (He steps back)
WoG: [I will not let this universe be in the hands of mortals like them!] (He inhales a giant gust of air into his lungs) I won't fall... I have to beat fate... I have stop the prophecy!! (His eyes glow light green)
{The Warlord picks himself up standing firm}
Satarou: [His conviction and will to win, is beyond anything I've seen...] (But he instantly thinks of Sendou) [No... His will, his conviction to win can't be matched by anyone, I defeated him once, which means...] (As he clenches his fists tight) [My will is stronger than both of them!!]
{Satarou once again dashes in on the Warlord}
WoG: It won't be that easy! (he throws a right straight)
Satarou: [I wasn't expecting it to be easy.] (As he weaves the right and lands a left overhand)
{The overhand had so much power it made Warlord reel back}
WoG: [Damn it, I used a lot of my strength to revive myself, I don't have enough energy left to absorb it anymore.] (As for the first time the Warlord's face has a bruise on it)
Satarou: (his eyes notice the bruise) [That definitely shows my attacks are effective... I just have to keep piling on the heavy hits and he'll fall.] (He sighs a deep breath refocusing)
{Satarou returns on the offensive}
WoG: [Damn it, I've relied too much on my abilities that I don't have my own strength is so weak... Unlike all the other Warlord's that at least have there own strength other than there ultimate ability, me... My ability is all I have...] (It's clear through his form he doesn't know anything about fighting)
Satarou: [I'm not gonna underestimate him... I've learnt the hard way that even if the body is defeated, the fight or flight instinct can change everything. I'm gonna have to defeat him with the Dempsy Roll!!] (As he weaves the next punch the Warlord throws)
{Satarou's starts weaving in the figure 8 motion we all know}
WoG: What the... (As he sees the infinity motion)
Satarou: [It's time for the Rockslide Erruption!!] (As he steps in hardening his body to steal)
{Satarou begins to land a fierce barrage of hooks and uppercuts}
Satarou: [This fight will finally answer my question... Of what true strength is... Is it brute force? Is it overwhelming pressure without using strength? Or is it a mixture of both? I've been searching my whole life for that answer to become a strong man to protect Tokito and even now to protect Onaraka. This punch...] (He puts everything he has left into his left hand) [Will answer my question!!] (As he was so close to finding this answer)
Medusa: Free meal!! (She swoops in and shoves the Warlord) Your Ring will be mine!! (She first punches his face in)
{She's landing sledgehammers while mounting the Warlord}
WoG: Stop... Please... (He says coughing up blood already defeated)
Medusa: I'm not finished with you yet!! (Her eyes are green with Envy and her demonic Smile is burnt into the Warlord's eyes)
{She pulls out her Daggers as they shin in the eerie light}
Medusa: I'm gonna enjoy this!! (As she repeatedly stabs the Warlord in the face with her daggers)
{Satarou just stands there completely dumbfounded at what he's witnessing}
Medusa: Now it's time for the finish!! (As she sinks her fangs into the Warlord)
{She sucks all of the Warlord's power}
Medusa: (with her fangs cover In blood) That's a new tick I got from the Warlord of Envy. (She takes the Warlord's Ring) Finally it's all mine!! (As she puts it on her thumb)
{Now as her blood courses with the high of the light green energy of the Ring flowing through her her skin turns more and more snake like, her hair curls up}
Medusa: Finally... (As her hair has turned to snakes and her skin turned fully dark green) I'm at full power!! (She exclaims her eyes turned slitted she exterts an unimaginable aura)
Satarou: What the... (He's still in complete shock)
{They stare off, Medusa and Satarou former Brother and Sister}
