"Do you think your son is not normal?" Gedeon asked carefully.
"Of course, he has a deviation. All the love of syrinxes should be directed only to women for successful Prosperity. When guys are busy with each other, this neutralizes the relationship between opposite genders, which leads to the extinction of the race. For millennia we have not allowed the kind of stupidity that is happening now. How many times, Irinel, were you punished, do you remember? It is clear that you are abnormal, since even a severe spanking does not stop you from your wild addictions."
"But I'm not the only one," Irinel contradicted him. "There are a lot of bisexuals around, you just refuse to accept it."
"Yeah… I know about those who started all this. Your open minded patron Ramies is one of those, who corrupted young aristocrats. Do you think he didn't have enough women? So he had no shortage of concubines, even in the fleet, in space travel, in conditions of endless war! It was only out of idleness that he began to seduce young men, without fear of punishment. And then the Zarians, with their morals, messed up all the norms of society."
"Didn't the Overlord support all this?" Gedeon intervened. "He cancelled the bans."
"Rohen established new rules in order to win special favour for himself. His actions are beyond my understanding. He turned obedient and disciplined citizens into a dissolute liberal society that suffers from idleness and hedonism. Now any nonsense is encouraged for the sake of so-called new sensations. His sympathy for the Radiances just pisses me off. It is unheard of to turn human men into syrinxes. Creatures like you, Gedeon, should not be present in our Realm at all. And your adoptive father too. How did he end up with us, and even with such crazy magic? And all your newborn children are our invaders!"
"What are these ridiculous accusations, Lamronius?" The indignant Gedeon jumped up.
"You are all newcomers and have no right to be born among syrinxes, you drive them crazy with your stuffing."
"Oh, that's it! Or maybe men just can't control themselves?"
"Rohen wreaked havoc on society when he allowed the Radiances to settle among us. What's happened lately is terrible. I know what a disturbance you caused when you threatened to defend your alien-lover in the square with your weapon. You would have been punished severely for such aggressive behavior in the old days. Who awarded such power to an unreasonable half-blood?"
Lamronius glared furiously and added in a sarcastic tone:
"But the Overlord doesn't see anything wrong with this."
"The Archon does not acknowledge the Supreme Deity? Rohen is alive God of War actually… How so? He can easily deal with dissenters, as he has already done." - Gedeon noted.
"However, he does not harm me for his own reasons."
"Rohen has crushed every creature of this world under his power. Why then did the Archons allow this to be done and being destroyed to nothing?"
"They couldn't cope with his power, and I wasn't invited to this execution," Lamronius muttered gloomily. "I was left alone even before their annihilation. And it's unlikely that I would oppose a powerful alien."
The Queen Bee Ellamyria slowly entered the living room.
"It looks like there's no sign of reconciliation here!" She expressed dissatisfaction, approaching the dejected Irinel. "Such a shame!"
Young blond fell close to her like a child, wrapping his arms around his mother.
"Why do you need my acknowledgment of this strange creature?" Lamronius said angrily. "Neither a boy nor a girl, I don't understand who! He already has plenty of patrons and mentors. More male lovers are added every day. Why does he need a father who is behind the times? What he has now, he received it for free from other men. What can I give him to finally grow up? He can cope without me. Besides, he will soon become a father too!"
Lamronius abruptly stood up and left.
"What a stubborn man!" Ellamyria screamed. "He has taken a stand and refuses to conceive new children with me."
"Why did you even ask him about this?" Gedeon was indignant. "You recently gave birth to our son."
"He is an elite syrinx and it is my duty to breed purebreds with him."
"If he does not accept his son, then why new conceptions?" Gedeon flared up and sat down in a chair.
"Forget it!" She casually waved her hand and looked at Irinel with concern.
"I'm glad that you have finally established a relationship with each other," the Queen smiled sincerely. "I will not bother you."
She quickly walked away, giggling melodiously.
Irinel sank to the floor and laid his head on the prince's lap.
"I love you, Gedeon! Accept my feelings, please don't reject me! How much joy your kiss gave me, my heart jumps out of my chest. Let me spend the night with you! You won't regret our closeness."
A hand came down and smoothed his hair, which meant agreement.
