The silence that followed Jax's declaration was heavier than thunder.
Hundreds of Draconic Eyes locked onto him from every single peak and ridge.

A colossal Black Dragon roared, the echo shaking the entire island as the Dragon leapt and flew forward, his obsidian scales grinding together.

"It's a pleasure to see this new supposed Demon King," the Black Dragon rumbled, voice shaking the ground, "I trust our Clan Leader, but I'd love to experience our King's strength first hand. After all, strength decides Kingship, always has and always will,"
More Dragons finally began to move as the Black Dragon did.
There was a Crimson Dragon, with immense flames flickering between its fangs.
There was a Sapphire Dragon, with the air lashing and freezing around its wings, mini-booms of wind explosions constantly echoing.
There was an Emerald Dragon, releasing poisonous gas with every breath it took and the grass around it swaying.
Finally, there was a White Storm Dragon with lightning crackling across its horns.

They all landed in a widening circle around Jax, unleashing their mana pressure to press down onto him like an avalanche.
Jax looked at all of these Dragons with a grin on his face. "Good," he said, genuinely pleased, "I was hoping you'd understand."
The Black Dragon snarled, wings snapping open.
"Let's see your power, Demon King!"
The island exploded into motion immediately as all of the Dragons attacked simultaneously. Dragonfire erupted towards Jax from three differing directions.
White-Hot Flames, Freezing Azure Breath and Corrosive Poisonous Green Mist all blasted towards Jax with the intention of laying waste to him.
Jax didn't move, simply letting the flames slam into him, but instead of vaporizing him to dust, the flames simply vanished, curving around his body as if refusing to touch him.
The freezing breath shattered against an invisible wall of mana, while the poisonous breath evaporated into harmless motes of light.
Several Dragons faltered mid-air as they saw this.

A huge bang echoed like the sound of space shattering, and the Black Dragon's head was driven down straight into the earth, its entire body following as the mountain beneath it collapsed inward.
Shockwaves tore across the island, cliffs shearing away as the beast was slammed unconscious in a single blow.
Silence followed as all the Dragon's were stunned into shock at what they saw, and then immediate panic.
"Holy fuck, he crushed him!"
"With just sheer force, I didn't sense much mana to amplify his force,"
"Stronger than a Black Dragon, what kind of monster is he?"
Jax landed lightly atop the shattered crater, rolling his shoulder once as he looked towards the other Dragons who had attacked him.
"Cmon, don't make me wait all day,"
"Don't hold back, he can handle it," The Poisonous Emerald Dragon said as he flapped his wings, roaring while the White Storm Dragon screeched and unleashed a storm.

Lightning speared down from the sky, thousands of bolts converging on Jax at once, the air screaming as the heavens themselves answered the Dragon's call.
Jax looked up, his golden eyes glowing as he stopped the lightning just before it crashed into him, every single bolt freezing, trembling violently before reversing direction and slamming towards the White Storm Dragon.

The lightning turned pitch black as it struck the Dragon, causing her to roar as her own power tore through her scales, blasting the Dragon out of the sky and smashing into a distant mountain where it fell still.
Before the others could react, Jax raised one hand and the Crimson Dragon felt its fire turn against it.
Flames erupted from beneath its scales, uncontrollable, internal combustion spiraling out of control as Jax clenched his fist.
The Dragon crashed, screaming, rolling across the island until it collapsed unconscious in a smoldering heap.
The Sapphire Dragon tried to retreat, but before that Dragon could react, Jax had appeared beside it midair and grabbed its horn.
"LET GO!" The Dragon spoke, an alluring feminine voice echoing from her mouth, but Jax didn't hold back, grappling the Dragon by the horn and throwing the Dragoness.
The massive Dragon became a projectile, skipping across peaks like a stone across water before embedding itself halfway into a mountain.
Finally, Jax fell down and landed back on the ground, patting his hands as if he was done throwing away the garbage before he looked at the remaining Dragons who was staring at him.
"Was that all, that was quite boring. Anyone else wanna have a go? I could do this all day," Jax said.
Jax stood and looked around, waiting for any of the Dragons to attack him, but none of them did, all just staring in a mixture of shock and fear at his immense power.
Eventually, after a long wait, one of the absolutely massive Elder Dragons lowered its head respectfully, acknowledging Jax as the Demon King!
Then another Dragon acknowledge Jax, and then another, more and more doing so as time passed.
Orianna finally stepped forward, shifting back into her humanoid form, her expression fierce and proud as she looked at her people who had fought and know acknowledged Jax's power.
Jax turned to face the kneeling Dragons, releasing his aura and enhancing the range of his voice using Magic.
"I didn't come to rule you by fear," he said calmly, "But I will not tolerate doubt from my subordinates. This is MY Kingdom, and I am Your Demon King!"
