Jax said after kissing Orianna's forehead, watching as she shuffled and laid in the bed, becoming unmoving as she fell asleep once more, exhausted from their ravenous morning activities.
Jax reminded himself to allow her to use the Divine Luminous Pool once they had free time, and looked around, heading to the closet to get dressed and prepare to leave.
As he was dressing, he still looked at Orianna, admiring her alluring presence as he dressed.
Golden light filtered through the tall windows, slipping past the curtains in thin beams that stretched across the room and settled gently over the bed where she was sleeping, undisturbed by anything he was doing.
Finally, once he was done dressing, he came back to the bed and kissed her on the forehead one last time before heading out, the door to his chambers opening without a sound, and closing just as quietly behind him.
