It rained for three days Nonstop
With the temperature already icily cold, Zosia's hands paled luckily she had a cotton jacket which kept the cold away
But with the acid rain falling non stop
She couldn't help frowning deeply
3 days wasted and with no sigh of her husband's life force, she couldn't help feeling a sense of dread
Luckily the rain stopped on the 4th door however with the overwhelming darkness one couldn't tell day from night but having calculated each seconds
Zosia knew it was midday
She packed up quickly finishing the large bun she had in hand the size of an adult's fist
She couldn't help but wonder if they had eaten too
Though she had sneakily packed food in his pocket storage
She wondered if it was enough for a whole battalion of soldier
Deep down she hoped he wouldn't needlessly share his food
Yet she couldn't say as her husband was a commander who valued his soldiers more than life itself
Once done with her buns she drank some water then she made markings on her makeshift hideout then she continued to her journey forward
She encountered more numbers wide beasts on her way
She didn't stop for the next two days journeying forward and fighting non stop and though her strenghth depleted greatly
She could fed on the dark energy they carried which fueled her greatly

Meanwhile in the Zerg's nest it was chaos
Riezekiel's eyes were iced cold as he watched the soldiers argue incessantly
In the past 3 days more soldiers had broke out of their dream like state
Clamouring to him to take them out of danger, he had no power over their going in and coming out but could only come up with a plan to bring everyone to safety
Who knew his very good soldiers would ditch them like fodder and run to safety
Alerting the Zerg's who were now hot on their chase
Whether or not those soldiers died or got out alive, he had no idea
" you proposed the idea Riezekiel! Now you have to bring us all to safety!" The others clamoures pointing fingers which only chilled his heart more
They were surrounded by Zerg's yet all who they had attracted on their own
Jeopardizing everyone's safety yet he was the one to be blamed
The same comrades he had shared his fried rations and water with to keep them alive
His gaze darkened even further in suppressed anger
"Captain watch out" at Cedric's shout he pulled out his dagger stabbing the incoming Zerg
He didn't wait for another to attack but attacked ruthlessly his moves sinister and violent taking a life instantly, but the Zerg's had evolved and had become more smarter
With more Zerg's than soldiers, it was a losing fight
But he was unwilling to die
He couldn't die
He knew his wife was out there searching for him
Waiting for his safe return
But the more he fought
The more he wished and prayed she wouldn't come
With the being unable to use their powers
The fight was even harder as the Zerg's could easily use powers to fight adding to the fact that they could easily replicate every move the soldiers used to fight
Making the fight even less impossible to win
The putrid smell of their acid juice made his stomach twist
The soldiers opened fire, the weight of the moment bore heavily on them
Yet they couldn't back down
They had to fight as fighting was the only way to live
More Zerg's poured in accompanied by the Zerg's sentils
Talkers, more grotesque features with large acidic bags
Riezekiel's eyes locked on the leader of the sentils, taller than the rest with an even deadlier aura
"We can't win commander.... Ollie!!!" The soldier shrieked seeing his bestfriend and partner being torn apart by the zergs
He continued to the shoot but their weapons dealt no real blows unto the Zerg's armored skin
"We can't win like this" Azreal begun retreating back slowly, with Cedric and the other soldiers
The arrival of the sentils brought a sense of dread
The Zerg's were already this difficult to handle yet there was an additional over 200 sentils which was worse than an evolved Zerg
"We're all going to die" the weaker soldiers wet their pants in fear
Riezekiel on the other hand was exchanging. blows with the sentils
His combat power was strong, his movements weren't coordinated which made it harder to mimic his fighting techniques
His blows were dealt at the weak points ending a life instantly which further enraged the Zerg's but he didn't stop even with fresh blood pooling out of his wounds
The others ditched their weapons and engaged in hand to hand combat fighting fiercely
Their life depended on this fight
Whether they won or lost depended on this moment
With Riezekiel handling the sentils leader and a dozen over sentils
They focused on the Zerg's which were more easier to handle compared to the sentils
"What to do commander, we're losing soldiers" Rico barked out fighting with all his might
The numbers of fallen soldiers was increasing by the minute and they were too occupied to help
Suddenly there was a deafening shriek
A signal from the Zerg leader
More zergs pouted in like a tide, the numbers seemingly endless
They were outnumbered through and through
If only they could use their powers
The fight would have been more to their own advantage
"Urge" Riezekiel let out a muffled groan having been dealt a blow to the stomach by the zombie leader which sent him flying crashing heavily into the wall
"Commander" Azreal, Cedric and Rico shouted in fright yet they couldn't rush to help him as they were seriously entangled in the fight
Which had taken many hours
Riezekiel spat out a mouthful of blood, his already weak body trembling slightly
Still the Zerg leader advanced maliciously sending bolts of lightening towards him which he narrowly dodged
The ground shook violently
Throwing both the soldiers and Zerg's off balanced
Riezekiel's heart sank cause whatever that was
Was even more stronger than the sentils
The Zerg's and sentils temporarily abandoned the soldiers and rushed to the source of the sound
Giving them time to rush up to help Riezekiel
Whose whole form was covered in black blood
The blood of the Zerg's which had ended under his dagger
"I'm fine, let's look for somewhere safe to hide first" Riezekiel slowly stood up grinding his teeth hard while also clutching his stomach
"Captain.... It's your wife" Cedric's eyes widened seeing those blood red orbs descend amongst the flying debris and dust
The dense dark energy in the air
Forced another breakthrough for Zosia whose hair turned completely white
"Tsk, you pesky bastards" her voice was tinged with anger seeing the grotesque creatures stretching their filthy claws to grab her
"Skreeeeaah" the zerg leader shrieked sending signals to the Zerg's and sentils
Who quickly formed a formation which only made Zosia frown
Her purple brocade robe hung loosely over her form, her milky white chest slightly exposed
"Wife" Riezekiel called out, with tears in his eyes.
His voice broken and hoarse
Her fiery red eyes landed on him briefly, seeing the disgust blood on him and the varying sizes of injury made her fiery red eyes blaze like a raging volcano
She hadn't fought her way in to meet him battered by his bike creatures
But the bike creatures had done so much harm to him
She laughed in anger a burning rage that made her blood boil
Those blank, indifferent eyes now held nothing but untamed rage
" wife leave quickly" Riezekiel stepped forwards even with his wounds however Zosia didn't spare him a glance with a wave of her hand he and his soldiers were trapped in her quantum cage
This cage unique to space manipulators
His eyes widened
"Wife you need to go back!" He anxiously banged the thick walls of the cage
But even with brute force
There wasn't even a budge or a crack
The cage was transparent, a big circular transparent cage
Yet was stronger than anything he had ever seen
~
She moved fast with her twin blades moving beautifully and skillfully in her hands creating after images
A beautiful sight to behold
As each movements was like a sword dance
Yet the Zerg's convulsed, heads separated from torso's, limbs twisted
Their bodies convulsed then exploded under her might
Her twin blades moved in sync slicing through the Zerg's like paper dolls
Each death a message written in blood
She was like the god of death itself
Each of her movement meant a Zerg life claimed
Her silvery white hair fluttered, her purple brocade robe looking even more beautifully under the glimmer of the light crystals
It took over an hour to finish the horde of zergs and the zombie leader
Which had mostly taken up her powers
However with the air packed with dark energy
She could easily refill without getting too tired
"Wife" once the quantum shield vanished he ran straight to her
Hugging her tightly
"Why's your power's chaotic?" She asked staring up at his pale face then down at his wounds
"There's something restricting our power usage here" he replied as she led him to a corner to sit and begin skillfully treating his wounds and bandaging him up
"How did you find us mrs mors" one of the young soldiers asked curiously
Seeing her, she was so thin and small yet she had bravely fought those pesky creatures
Her powers were overwhelming
Her martial arts even more formidable
His eyes held so much respect and reverence for Mrs Mors
"Smelled the scent unique to you soldiers then I followed it and found a few soldiers, scotched beyond recognition barely alive" she replied as she fed Riezekiel one of her specially made vials
"You shouldn't have come" Riezekiel couldn't help scolding her
Watching her fight solo had unlocked a new fear in his heart
"Once we leave the nest, you'll be able to recover your powers for the rest of you burn this place down
The queen would be difficult to handle probably hiding somewhere and calling backup
I doubt this much sentils would arrive without that thing's hand in it" Zosia helped her husband up and helped him out leaving the soldiers to handle their injuries and plant grenades in various corners of the cave
It was selfish on her part
But she had only come for her husband
They just were here at the same time
Benefitting from the good fortune
Once they found a safe spot
She fished out a bowl of steaming hot scallion noodles from her space pocket
The steam making his already pale face tinge with red
"Have you eaten?" He asked as he took the first bite
Getting pampered by his wife wasn't bad at all
He felt fortunate to have lasted this long
And see her beautiful face
So beautiful it was outwardly
Her skin like peeled egg
So white and smooth
"I already ate a lot, I'll give your soldiers some steamed buns" she stood up and shared a bag of buns she had prepared for the soldiers
She hadn't put efforts into making this buns at all
They weren't her husband anyway
She was only doing this cause of her husband
And they should be fortunate there was even something to eat
At least the toxic free vegetables she had bought from the greenhouse was put into good use
"Boom"
An explosion sounded, so loud it made the grounds shake
The guttural cries of the Zerg queen echoed before it all went silent
