"No, Sera," Diana said again, still standing there on the pad, device hanging loose in her hand like she didn't trust herself holding it any tighter. "It's not okay. I need you to actually hear that. It's not okay."
"I heard you the first—"
"I don't think you did, actually, because you're looking at me like I just told you the sky's a weird color." Diana started walking, fast, and Sera had to lengthen her stride to keep up. "This isn't a fan being a little intense, this is a grown man running a whole operation on you."
"He is simply lonely, I think, and—"
"He is simply a leech, Sera, that's what he simply is." Diana yanked the ship's hatch open harder than it needed. "Get in."
Sera climbed in after her, wings folding awkwardly in the low doorway, and settled across from her as the hatch sealed.
"Do you know his last name?"
"...No."
"His actual face? Not a picture he picked out and sent you, his actual face?"
"No."
