I looked down to my clasped hands as I sat down on the dark leather couch of Dad's study whilst Vasilisa sat down on the one opposite me with Pa by her side and Dad to mine. Demyan sat on the wheelie chair as he spun around looking very calm for once. Probably because he wasn't the one in trouble this time around.
I hated family meetings, they were stupid and always ended in a bigger argument than being resolved. I didn't see why our parents loved talking things out whilst I very much preferred to bunch it all up in a ball and throw it in the bin to ignore until eternity. Especially when it included Vasilisa, she could be as hard headed as it got and I knew we weren't going to have any success here.
