"What?" Muku asked confusedly.
She didn't reply and just stared back at him with a look that said, "You know what you need to do"
And like that, mother and son stared at each other in silence. One with confusion on his face and the other with resolution on hers.
Muku's expression kept getting uglier by the moment as he thought about her words. Of course he heard exactly what she said.
But what did she mean, "You have to kill me first? Did she expect him to just agree and do what she requested like it was nothing? Did she think this was some f*cked up tragedy where one had to sacrifice their loved one to save the rest?
The more he thought about it, the angrier he got at no one in particular. Maybe the situation or his powerlessness, not being strong enough to the point she wouldn't have needed to appear there with such terrible news.
Or maybe he was mad at her for coming into his life, making him love her and be attached to her, like the mother she was, only to say such a thing.
