From there he exited the carrier ship out into space.
There were now only a few minutes until the operation to kill some of the commander type monsters began.
Avery had volunteered to go first as a lure for attracting the monster horde's attention.
He was the one that had initially come up with the idea, and he was certain that he could get the giant monsters to focus on him.
After what he did to one of them, they all saw him as a giant threat to be eradicated. He knew that much from the way that they had acted.
No doubt if he showed up again in front of them, that all five would focus their forces on him.
Of course, he was not alone in the Dauntless this time.
