Now that the station's defenses were under their control, Avery, Kasandra, Ezra, Olivia, and Kaiden had a remarkably easier time dealing with the guards that had been hunting them down.
Quickly the five of them swept through anyone in their path, and it was not long before all of their enemies were either dead or unable to continue fighting.
The station's defense drones flitted around them, and while they had been annoying to deal with before, they made for useful allies.
Soon, Liesel and Burke met up with them along with the team they were in charge of.
"Can I leave sweeping the station to the rest of you? It's time that I go and deal with Delia. I'm tired of letting her string us along." Avery said.
The others were of a similar opinion to him, having become fed up with the woman's antics.
