Chapter 122 - 120: Let's Clean Up The Group Of Rats

"Where are you going?" Laxus frowned as he straightened. He looked at Akira with a serious expression. He didn't know what this guy was doing right now. Why did he make a clone and want to go away now? Did this guy still not recover from his pathetic state?

Akira let out a small chuckle under his mask, his voice calm and steady. "Relax, Laxus. I'm not running away. You should have noticed that our guild is being targeted by those dark guilds who were responsible for creating the Tower of Paradise."

He adjusted his deep hood before continuing. "Although I was drinking for the last few days, my intelligence network was still working. I found that with Erza's arrival at the guild, those dark guilds seemed to want to go after her. In the past, I was not in the right state of mind to take care of them, but those bastards think that just because they are hidden in the shadows, I won't find them," Akira said, his voice growing cold.

"They made Erza's life a living hell, and they are still out there doing whatever they want. Although Master can handle the trouble they would cause, it isn't my style to just sit back and take a beating without retaliating."

Laxus narrowed his eyes. He also knew a bit about this. In fact, Gildarts was already on his way to clear out those dark guilds. But obviously, with Gildarts' loud way of doing things, he could only make them wary and not completely annihilate them.

"So you are going to destroy them completely?" Laxus asked. A small spark of yellow lightning flickered in his hand. Part of him wanted to go along to beat up some dark mages, but he knew Akira had to do this alone.

"Something like that," Akira replied. "I want to make sure that when Erza is ready to go outside, the world is safer for her. Plus, this is the least I could do as her incompetent older brother. And besides, we need to expand our forces so that those rats won't dare come to pick a fight against us again. "

Akira looked over at his clone, the blue-haired kid named Kira, who stood quietly by the railing. Kira gave him a firm nod, telling him to leave everything here to him. With Kira running the magic shop and training Erza, Akira's main body was completely free to hunt down the dark guilds without any worries.

"Don't take too long," Laxus muttered, leaning back against the couch and closing his eyes. "And you better not struggle against some weak dark mages. That would be embarrassing for an S-rank mage of Fairy Tail."

"Heh, don't worry about that," Akira said with a small sneer. "I will make sure those dark guilds understand what it means to provoke the wrath of Fairy Tail."

Right after saying those words, his body blurred, and he vanished completely from the second floor, leaving absolutely no trace of his magic behind.

...

After watching his main body teleport away, Kira said goodbye to Laxus and used Kyōka Suigetsu to conceal himself and walked down the stairs and headed towards the bar counter where the old man was drinking.

Then, conjuring another illusion of him walking inside and heading straight towards Makarov. Then he and the illusion synced as he sat next to the old man.

He looked at Sera and spoke, " Sera, can you give me some breakfast. I'm starving "

Seeing this unfamiliar person, Sera took a moment to recognize him. After all, Akira hadn't used this form for a long time. But noticing the specific blue hair and that familiar bloodline connection, her eyes softened, and a warm smile returned to her face.

"So you finally decided to come down," Sera said, placing a warm plate of eggs and fresh bread in front of him. "I already made enough for you and Laxus. Go ahead and eat."

Makarov, who was sitting right next to him, stopped mid-sip of his beer. He stared at the blue-haired kid with wide eyes, completely confused by the sudden appearance of this stranger. Furthermore, Makarov felt like he had seen this young man before. The old man put his mug down with a loud thud and looked between Kira and Sera.

"Hey, hey! Who is this brat?" Makarov asked, pointing a finger at Kira. "And kid, you look very familiar; have we met before?"

Kira took a big bite of the bread. "Master, it's me, Akira," he spoke through the connection in his mind, using a voice transmission so the surrounding guild members wouldn't hear him.

Makarov almost choked on his own spit. He rubbed his eyes and leaned closer, sensing the magic power. "Akira?! What is the meaning of this? Is this also one of your illusions or clones, but why does your magic feel so different?"

"This is just a special clone, Master," Kira explained calmly, keeping his voice quiet. "My main body has already left Magnolia to hunt down the dark guilds that are targeting Erza. I left this clone behind to stay in the guild under a new identity. From today onwards, my name is Kira Akagami. And I will be handling the magic shop and Erza's training."

Then Kira began to explain the main body's plans and why he created this special clone. Of course, he didn't explain everything, like how he wants to expand his influence to the dark world.

Makarov blinked, trying to process the information. He looked up at the second floor, where Laxus was still resting on the couch, and then back at the cute kid eating breakfast.

"You're going after the dark guilds?" Makarov's expression became serious, his tone dropping. "Gildarts is already handling them, Akira. You don't need to push yourself."

"Gildarts's method is not enough, Master. He will only scare them away," Kira replied, his golden eyes flashing with a cold light. "Those bastards messed with my sister. I won't stop until they are completely wiped out. While my main body handles the hunting, this clone will run the magic shop and take charge of Erza's training."

Makarov sighed and rubbed his temples. He knew that once Akira made up his mind, there was no stopping him—especially when it came to Erza. The kid was deeply protective, and after feeling guilty for so long, this was his way of fixing things. At least this is better than this kid wasting his life drinking like a heartbroken man.

"Fine," Makarov grumbled, taking another drink. "But if the Magic Council gets mad at me because a bunch of dark guilds suddenly disappear, I am blaming you. And don't think you can escape paperwork just because you are a clone now."

Kira laughed softly. "Don't worry, Master. To everyone else, Kira Akagami is just a new member who wants to help out. The Council will just think that Akira is away on a long mission."

Sera leaned over the counter and smiled warmly, though she still looked a bit worried. "Just make sure both of you eat properly. I don't care if you are a clone or the real body; you need food to stay sharp."

"I know, Sera. Your cooking is the best," Kira said, finishing his food quickly.

He stood up and stretched his arms. He looked over and saw that Erza had just arrived. Seeing Mira was also there, Kira stood up and said,

Just as Kira wanted to get close to Erza, he remembered that he hadn't met her yet,so he turned back to the old man with a wry smile.

"Well, Master, can you help me out and introduce me to Erza? With everything that happened before, I couldn't really find the right chance to talk to her normally," Kira asked quietly.

Sera smiled happily and spoke up before Makarov could even answer. "It's okay, I will go with you and introduce you to them. Since you already decided to take over Erza's training and run the magic shop, this is the perfect opportunity to meet her and make an impression. After all, for a girl who uses the Requip magic, I'm sure she would need some armor and weapons."

Kira nodded, adjusting his thoughts as Sera walked around the counter. Together with the old man, they began walking over toward the two young girls, ready to set the plan into motion.

"And Sera, just to make sure, can you keep my identity a secret for now? You know, even though I'm a clone, the main body doesn't want me to tell Erza about this. According to him, he would one day say the truth to Erza herself: "Kira whispered, making the old man and cat nod after hesitating for a moment.

They weren't disappointed that Akira still chickened out; after all, they knew that brat was too emotional. Maybe he would come and confess the truth to Erza in a few days after his head cools down. At the very least, Akira is now able to confront Erza, even if it is just through a clone.
