After returning to the North Pole, I entered the workshop to the sound of applause and celebration.
A large number of elves were standing within the main hall waiting for my return. I also noticed my family inside the main hall clapping for my return."
"Welcome back Santa! Congratulations for the successful night! Would you like a celebration drink?"
"Thank you Bernard"
Grabbing a mug from Judy, I noticed that all the elves are carrying one.
"For those of you who didn't know... this was my first official night as Santa Claus and what a night it has been. 6.7 million presents delivered to children all around the world and it wouldn't have been possible without the hard work you all did. So cheers to a successful Christmas night and for all those to come."

Taking a sip I noticed that the drink was hot chocolate with a shot of peppermint schnapps. ... It was pretty good
As the elves disperse to celebrate, I walk towards Laura, Neal, and Charlie.
"Merry Christmas!"
"Merry Christmas Dad!"
Charlie hugs me as Laura and Neal smile.
"Oh before I forget... here"
I pull out from my coat two presents and handed each to Laura and Neal.
"O Scott thank you."
As they unwrap their gifts a look of surprise appears on their faces.
"O Scott... had did you know?"
I smile, "I might be new to this position, but I am Santa Claus"
Laura reveals a Mystery Date game, while Neal holds a Oscar Meyer Weenie Whistle.
Looking at the whistle Neal murmurs "I never told anyone about this"
Neal raises his head to look me in the eyes.
"You really are Santa Claus... Merry Christmas Santa"
"Merry Christmas guys"
- half hour later-
After checking out the gifts, I decided to take my family for a sleigh ride around the North Pole.
There is something awe inspiring about staring out onto the icy landscape of the artic.
Now in the movies Santa's workshop was located below the ice, hidden from the world above.
But the workshop of this universe was located within a pocket dimension above the North Pole. Probably for the best as the technology of this universe is much higher than the Santa Clause universe. No need to worry about research planes flying over.
Getting back to the workshop I prepare to take a tour of the entire workshop with Charlie leading the way, since he already had the tour.
Bernard walked up to me and pulled me aside to speak.
"Take the day off you earned it, but tomorrow the work begins again and it starts with an important meeting."
"A meeting... with who?"
"With the council of Legendary figures. A group of mythical characters who meet at the North Pole to discuss serious matters.
It consists of figures like Mother Nature, Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny, Sandman, Cupid, yourself Santa, and the Sorcerer Supreme. "
"O ok... Wait... WHO!?!?!"
