Just as Jiang Heng was fleeing, Song Guanchao received a call from Lu Zhizhong.
"Did you arrest Wei Shoucheng's son?"
Facing Lu Zhizhong's inquiry, Song Guanchao wasn't surprised at all.
He softly said "hmm" and then asked, "Did Wei Shoucheng reach out to you?"
Lu Zhizhong replied, "Secretary Tian called Secretary Gao, and Secretary Gao then called me to ask what was going on."
"It's not complicated..." Song Guanchao quickly explained the situation, and after he finished, Lu Zhizhong said, "It matches closely with what Secretary Gao mentioned."
Song Guanchao chuckled, "Wei Shoucheng is quite invested in his son."
He hadn't expected the matter to escalate to Secretary Gao's level.
To him, it seemed like a personal conflict between himself and Wei Zejun.
Who would have thought this guy would run and complain to his parents, which felt a bit childish.
But this also showed that the incident was a significant blow to him.
