Without speaking, the sun and moon shine together; without summoning, heaven and earth respond naturally. As simple as it is profound, its effect is divine, truly the ancestor of all things and the root of life."
"The origin of Qianyuan begins with pure Yang as the root. The Taiji divides into two forms; Yin and Yang are differentiated, and heaven and earth are born. Yang reaches its peak at nine, encounters eight, returns to the prime essence. The prime essence is represented in the east by the virtue of wood, the purity of Yang, from which the source of light arises."
