A massive palanquin was lifted, carried by a group of Arhats.
On the palanquin lay a terribly charred dog, with fur burnt to such a miserable state that it was unclear whether it was alive or dead. Its original fur color appeared to have been white.
On the dog's body was placed a golden statuette of a Bodhisattva, the size of a baby.
