Rainny White looked at Sophie Parker with a sardonic smile, her tone carrying an intentional hint of probing.
Sophie Parker's face darkened instantly, a flicker of jealousy flashing in her eyes.
No wonder Adam Willow had become increasingly distant lately, barely bothering to speak a few words. It was because Emily Parker had returned, and they had already met!
"Are you here just to tell me this nonsense?" Sophie pressed down her anger, her tone full of impatience, and reached for her bag, preparing to leave. "If there's nothing else, I'll be going."
She couldn't wait any longer and had to find Adam Willow right away to get to the bottom of it.
But just as she took a step forward, Rainny White grabbed her wrist.
"Sister Sophie Parker, don't rush off." Rainny quickly changed her mocking expression to one of pitifulness.
