Chunyuan Temple is a newly built Taoist temple this year.
According to the locals, they had never seen a temple built so quickly.
Chunyuan Temple started construction in early spring, but by the time spring was halfway through, the whole temple was completed.
You might think it's just a small temple, but it's actually quite large.
The six palaces are built against the mountain, with pavilions and towers arranged in a picturesque manner, red walls and glazed tiles, making it even grander than the Emperor's palace for a time.
Some even suspect that this is another palace of the Emperor, just under the guise of a Taoist temple, especially since it's not far from the Great Ming Lake, where the Emperor is often delighted to visit, and some people recognized quite a few of the craftsmen.
These craftsmen are renowned far and wide for their skillful hands, probably more than the Emperor could gather when building the palace at one go.
