After the guest had eaten and had rested ,( though with much persuation from amaka's grand mother)the oldest among the men cleared his throat and began telling amaka's grandmother what had brought them to jalingo(amaka's home town),he brought out amaka's parents ID cards and broke tje news to them that they had lost them.
The news was too heavy for amaka's grandmother to bear, so as she heard it ,it sent her to her grave immediately, q on the same day amaka lost her dad,mom and grandmom, all she had ever lived for had disappeared into thin air.
She weeped because to her,her world had crumbled , no amount of condelence could tame her ,she refused to eat or drink for many days ,all she cared about was for her parents and lovely grandma to come back to her.
Amaka's uncle (sir amadi) thesame man who her parents had wanted to visit came home from lagos for the funeral ,the funeral lasted for two weeks ,with so much singing dancing, weeping ,and dirge.
After the funeral ,the family had a meeting concerning the tradgedy that had befallen them and how they could help amaka, delibrations and arguments erupted place among the siblings, there was confusion but atlast the oldest man in the family spoke up.
In his speech he said sir amadi ( amaka's uncle) was the closest and most trusted sibling among all as a result should be the one ti take care of amaka ,after much delibration it was agreed .
A month later amaka was on her way to lagos with her uncle ,but this time around in his personal car( for he was a rich business tycoon) in lagos ,there he lived with his family.
