*Later, Misuna had a proposition for the Traveler.*
Misuna: "What do you say that I show you how the area itself looks? So you can see what we're dealing with?"
Traveler: *skeptical* "Not sure... I guess i'll go... Since there's nothing i can do sadly..."
Misuna: "It's alright... I understand... Come on. I promise it won't be long."
*She took his hand in hers and they began walking. Citizens looked noticing the princess with a newcomer none of them knew about and were talking to each other.*
?: "Who is that guy?"
?#2: "I don't know. But i feel like he's trying to win the princess's heart. I have a feeling it's not going to end up good..."
*Once at the gates, Misuna raised her hands and the water gates open as they pass through.*
Traveler: *amazed* "Wow you have a really beautiful nation! It looks... Mesmerizing."
Misuna: *blushing* "Thank you~ we worked hard in the past 2 decades just to do something... I'm glad you like it. Guards! Tell my sister that i will be out of nation for at best 4 hours! So she can take control!"
Guard: "Yes princess!"
*The two made their way out of Lunia towards the entrance of the cursed zone.*
Misuna: *sighs* "Here we are... This looks... Very bad... It's even worse than last time i went... Even the ground itself started deforming..."
Traveler: "You think we can lift this curse?"
Misuna: "Not now. But i am sure we will be able to do it. I don't know when. But i am sure..."
*They stepped inside the cursed zone and Traveler already took a blow to his chest. But he was fine.*
Traveler: "Argh! God! This thing hurts!" *Almost falls*
*Misuna was worried but decided to use her powers to assist*
Misuna: "Aquatic Fury!"
*A blue ring surrounded them and his pain seemed to subside really fast.*
Traveler: "What did you do?" *Regains posture*
Misuna: "I created a sort of barrier. To protect you from the damage the zone creates. I am immune to it's effects."
Traveler: "Well that's kind of you... For the least..."
Misuna: *smiles* "It's the least i can do... Really..."
*They kept going and she started showing him around*
Misuna: "Those are the water gardens i was going to daily... You see.. my mother used to grow flowers there. And from the two of us she entrusted me to take care of them daily. They were a symbol of love from her. Himari would'nt have had the time to step foot in the gardens even if she wanted to... That's why mother entrusted me over her. I did my best to take care of them. They eventually lost all sources to keep them alive and they succumbed to the ground... That garden was protected for millenias and it's only at it's worst state ever since... From what i heard... It was firstly created by some humans back in the 18's maybe. And it's alive ever since. Since 2 millenias and a couple years. I just wish i can get it back working as fast as possible. Or to move the flowers back into the nation... But i was already too late..."
Traveler: "I understand... I have a sister too that was a fan of flowers... She wasn't careful enough... And i lost her... A while ago. Maybe 3 years ago."
Misuna: "Oh i am so sorry to hear that... I can revive people... But since i am aware you aren't from this world... I am not sure how to help... I'll... Try to find a way... I'll keep this promise." *She wrote on air even if it was invisible to the Traveler and then gently guided her fingers towards the sky where the promise jumped and remained.*
Traveler: *crying inside* **"I hope you keep your promise..."** "Thank you Princess Misuna..."
*She placed a comforting hand on his shoulder and guided him forward.*
Misuna: "We have some company!"
Traveler: "Hmm?" *He tilted his head up to see some wolve like creatures run towards them on all 4's.*
Traveler: *screams as ice engulfs them* "I started to become fearless by now... These don't scare me that much... Not for now..."
*Misuna then vaporizes the creatures and they walk forward.*
Misuna: "That to your right is the place ruled by one of our tribes. We call it the Breezeful-Forest. Well.. ahem not so breezeful anymore... We had so many animals there and it was one of our best places to visit by newcomers. I can take you inside of there just to show you around. Looks cool even now. Atleast the water itself... Cause it's under my control... But the forest itself..." *Most trees were nonexistent now, some half cut, and some looking more horrible than a witch at your front door. Carved like crazy.*
Traveler: "Sounds good!"
*They headed inside the forest. While Traveler was distracted she noticed her hand growing darker and darker over time. It was the emotional effect Madoro caused to her when her sister lost her heart. It felt like a curse deep inside. Adding the cursed zone itself... Could be worse.*
*Once arriving at the shore, Misuna and the Traveler sit down on the sand and look at the water that was flowing gracefully.*
Misuna: "The only good thing about this area anymore..."
*They heard a sort of scream of a animal coming from deep inside the forest and she notices a gazelle on the floor looking for help.*
Misuna: "Oh my!" *Covering her mouth with her hands as she approaches the animal with the Traveler* "Some actual wildlife in here! And it's pregnant as well... Don't worry little one... I'll save you..." *She closed her eyes and chanted something inaudible by the Traveler and the heal spell took over the animal and cleansed all of it's wounds. Once she stopped chanting the gazelle got up, brushed it's head by Misuna's cheek recognizing the princess and then left quickly.*
Misuna: *giggles* "Awh~ i think she recognized me! Isn't that cute?"
*Traveler felt really happy noticing what happened just now and agreed*
Traveler: "Yeah. I mean it felt happy after you treated it. I'm surprised to see wildlife in the cursed zone too."
Misuna: "I'm surprised as well... Usually the curse kills anything in sight. Even animals. I'm surprised it survived... I have to repel this curse atleast from this area... Somehow... I'll find a way... Let's head back to the nation Traveler. I have many more to show you. But now's not the time..."
*He agreed and Misuna took his hand and flied them both there. They noticed the gazelle on the way as well leaving the cursed zone on it's own. It seemed it was a smart one.*
Misuna: "Go! Find a better place! You're doing great!!" *She laughed happily while chatting*
*Once back in Lunia, Misuna decided to find Traveler a place to stay.*
Misuna: "I've spoke to my sister. We can find you a place to stay in our palace. You'll have the room she used to stay in years ago. She lives under the nation now more protected from the titan."
*He nodded in understanding and followed Misuna to the so called room.*
*Once there, Misuna cleaned around quick with just a couple moves from her hands and prepared the room.*
Misuna: "Here. Enjoy your stay. You're more than welcome here. If you're looking for me ask a stormian. They're part of our military. You just gotta ask about the princess's whereabouts. They'll always know where i am. I'll go now. Sleep well Traveler."
Traveler: "Thank you princess... Sleep well..."
*She left the room and Traveler drifted into a deep sleep until the next day.*
