Chapter 39 - Final Round (Part-2)

Similarly, all of Suan and Huo's teammates have won and made it to the top twenty. One reason for this is that none of them had to compete with their own teammates. So far, only one or two groups have competed against competitors from their own groups. Similarly, eighteen contestants have reached the top twenty. Now, only the last two groups remain, ranked ten and eleven. Cini calls the contestants from both groups to the arena. Upon his call, Suan and Huo stand in front of Cini along with the contestants from the other groups. As soon as they enter the arena, a sudden silence prevails. Perhaps this is because everyone present has heard the stories of Suan's powers. Everyone knows that he possesses dragon powers, although it is a different matter that most people do not believe this. "You all know the rules, so come quickly and choose your opponents," Cini says, looking at the contestants from both groups. First, a contestant from the ten-number group steps forward and draws a number. "Number eleven," Cini says, pointing the number at everyone. Then, Suan steps forward, "Wait, not you, I'll go first." Huo says, quickly reaching into his bag and pulling out the number. A look of fear appears on his face as he sees the number. Number ten, Cini, pointing the number at the audience, says, "Now it's your turn to draw a number." Cini looks at Suan. Suan reaches into his bag and pulls out a number. His face changes color upon seeing the number. Number ten, Cini, shouts, looking at the audience, "Now the fun begins." Cini, looking at Suan, walks off the field. Hearing this, Suan and Huo exchange glances. On the other hand, hearing this, a look of worry is clearly visible on the faces of all the horsemen and their companions. The two contestants from group number ten are the first to fight, and they are both fighting in that circle. Meanwhile, Suan and Huo are not even looking at each other, as if a different battle is going on inside them. But somewhere, fear is clearly visible on Huo's face, because of the incident that happened last night during dinner, which convinced him that what he thought was a rumor is real, and that is, Suan really has dragon powers. The fight between the tenth contestants is over. Both Suan and Huo walk towards the circle on the field. You don't need to be afraid of me. I won't use my powers. Suan looks at the audience as he walks and says, "Do you know what I've done all these years?" Huo looks at the audience and asks, "No, I don't know." Suan replies, "I've only practiced, not to defeat the enemy standing in front of me, but to overcome my fear. From childhood until now, I've fought people who were two or three times stronger than me. Anyway, battles aren't won with powers, so I'm not afraid of you at all," Huo says, looking at Suan. After that, both of them stand away from each other in the circle. Huo takes out his sword, which is double-edged and slightly curved at the front. Suan's sword, on the other hand, is straight and double-edged, but appears to be made of a different metal, as his sword appears green. Meanwhile, the faces of all their companions turn pale. Just then, a guard standing near the bell rings loudly, and at that moment, the two men run toward each other with their swords drawn. Their physical features are almost identical, but their fighting styles are completely different. While Suan relies heavily on strength, Huo utilizes the tactics he has learned over the years. Both are unstoppable, constantly attacking each other. While Suan possesses powers, Huo possesses fighting experience. Huo then draws another sword from his sword, now holding it in both hands, and launches a continuous barrage of attacks. Meanwhile, Suan, meanwhile, is fending off attacks with his sword when Huo's sword slashes his right arm. However, the wound begins to heal spontaneously, enraging Huo. Huo then bends down and kicks Suan's legs, causing him to fall to the ground. Seizing the opportunity, Huo strikes Suan's chest with both his swords simultaneously. This is a sight that leaves most people breathless. Suan then brings his swords into the air and begins to push upwards with both his hands. Huo then strikes Suan's right hand, which he's holding. The attack sends the sword flying from Suan's hand and tumbling away. Suan then traps his foot in Huo's leg, pinning him to the ground. By the time Huo gets up, Suan jumps up and picks up his sword again."You said you wouldn't use your powers," Huo says, moving towards Suan. "It's beyond my control. As soon as I get hurt, my body heals itself," Suan replies. As they approach, Suan launches a flurry of attacks at Huo with his sword, but Huo easily dodges all of his attacks without even using his own. As if he knows when and where Suan will strike. "Now it's my turn," Huo says, and begins attacking Suan with both his swords. Then, with a maneuver, he traps Suan's sword between his own and throws him out of the circle. Then, leaping into the air, he delivers a powerful kick to Suan's jaw. As Suan spits on the ground, a little blood also comes out. "Admit defeat. You can never defeat me without your powers," Huo says, looking at Xuan. "Okay, then, let's see," Huo said, clenching his fists into a boxer's stance. "So, you want this, it's your wish," Huo said, throwing his swords out of the circle. "Come attack me," Huo said, looking at Suan. Just then, Suan unleashed a barrage of punches, but none of Suan's punches landed on him. On the other hand, couldn't dodge any of Huo's punches. Then, Huo punched Huo again, and at the same time, Huo also threw a punch, and their punches collided. Huo realized that if even one of Huo's punches landed on his face, he would wake up in the hospital, as his wrist bones were already hurting from the impact. Meanwhile, Suan had likely forgotten all his training from the impact. And anyway, a few weeks of training can't compete with years of training. Suan attacks Huo with his hands and feet, but for some unknown reason, this time his speed suddenly increases. Huo barely manages to dodge his attacks, stumbling and nearly falling. "What's wrong? I'm not very fast, after all, this is just the beginning," Suan says with a smile. "You're losing your temper, and you'll lose even if you win," Huo says, looking at Suan. "That won't happen. No one will know what happened here," Suan says. Just as Suan moves forward to attack, he feels something pierce his neck. When he removes it, it's a very thin glass needle, which he throws away. He then attacks Huo again, but Huo easily blocks his punches and continues to attack him one after another. Suan is unable to stop his attacks, and keeps moving backwards to protect himself. Huo then leaps up and kicks him hard in the chest, sending him flying out of the ring and falling unconscious. "With this, we have our final winner," Hikaru says, looking at the audience.Meanwhile, Suan's grandmother and mother, along with all his friends, rush towards Suan. Huo rushes to Suan to see if he's seriously injured, but he still can't believe he's defeated him. Everyone is cheering and shouting Huo's name loudly. With this defeat, all those present who had heard that Suan possessed dragon powers are convinced that this is absolutely false. The entire village will celebrate tonight."Look, he's regaining consciousness. Go and tell his mother and grandmother," Mausam says, looking at Haru. Who is still looking at Suan. "Haru, did you hear what I said?" Mausam looks at her and says. "Yes, I did." Saying this, Haru runs out of the monastery towards Suan's house. "How are you feeling now?" Mausam asks, looking at Suan. Who is rubbing his eyes and sitting up. "What happened to me? I'm perfectly fine. What happened in the fight?" Suan asks. "Don't you remember? You lost," Mausam replies. "How is that possible? In the middle of the fight, I thought I would easily defeat him. Then a thin glass needle pierced my neck. After that, I don't remember what happened," Suan says, looking at Mausam. "If you're telling the truth, then we should tell Guruji about this," Mausam says. "How are you, my child? Are you hurt anywhere?" Sohee looks at Suan with tears in her eyes. She then hugs him and starts crying. "I'm fine, Grandma. Nothing happened to me. Don't worry," Suan says, wiping her tears. "Where's my mother?" Suan asks. "She's talking to the Guruji," Sohee replies. Just then, the Guruji and Ah-seong enter. "How are you feeling now?" the lama asks, looking at Suan. "I'm absolutely fine, Guruji," Suan says, standing on the ground. "Guruji, we have something to tell you," Mausam says, looking at him. "Not now, all of you go to your homes and prepare for the evening celebration," the lama says, looking at everyone. After that, everyone heads for their homes. "Yen, it's been two days since we've been patrolling that forest. We haven't seen a single human being there yet. That forest stretches so far, so the killer could be anywhere," Jinsuk says, looking at Yen. Combining the maps from those three books, all I can see is that we should head towards the volcano, Mairu. We're wasting our time on that killer, Katana says. I can't understand anything. It seems I'm close to the Dragon Sword, but how can I get it? Yen looks at Katana and says. "You guys don't need to go there anymore. I've found a solution to that problem. I've asked all the soldiers to install cameras in those forests during the day. If there's a killer, we'll know whenever he attacks." Half Face looks at Jinsuk and says. "We need to look at those three maps again. There's something we're missing," Yen says. "Sir, Yakib Hassan has come to meet you. He needs to talk to you about something very important," Pinto tells Yen. Hearing this, all of Yen's companions present there are shocked. Do you know Yakib? He is the leader of those revolutionaries who incites people against us," Irish says looking at Yen. Bring him inside," Yen says looking at Pinto. "Come on friends, don't look at me like that, I will tell you everything, just listen to what the news is," Yen says smilingly looking at his companions.
