Chapter 98 - After the End.

The instant Vegito T2's beam erased Baby Vegito Black, the entire Timeline 1 block reacted like a dam exploding.

There was no delay, no processing, no hesitation — the Prime Timeline had been carried through so much despair, dread, and the weight of total annihilation that the victory hit them like a shock to the nervous system.

Chi-Chi T1

She dropped to her knees immediately.

her body simply refused to keep standing.

She clutched her chest with both hands, sobbing in a way she hadn't since Goku first died on Namek.

Her voice cracked, broken.

Chi-Chi:

"We're alive— we're actually… we're really going to live…!"

She cried into her palms, shaking violently.

Not even Videl could comfort her — Chi-Chi had a true emotional release.

Goku T1

Awe so deep it bordered on disbelief.

His eyes were wide, fixed on the fading light in the sky, the afterimage of Vegito's victory still burning into his retinas.

Goku (whispering):

"…I knew he'd win…but what the hell was this fight"

He just stared.

Goku:

"That power… that control… that resolve… I've never seen anything like it."

Vegeta heard that line and looked away.

Vegeta T1

Vegeta's reaction was the most violent.

When the Grand Priest declared the victory.

he punched the wall beside him so hard that it spiderwebbed like sugar glass.

Vegeta:

"DAMN IT… DAMN IT…"

He wasn't angry at Vegito.

He was angry at himself.

Angry that he — even as a fusion half — was so impossibly far behind.

He turned sharply toward Goku.

Vegeta:

"Kakarot… don't you dare get comfortable. We can reach that. WE CAN."

Goku smiled again. This time gently.

Goku:

"Yeah. I know...i think"

Goten T1 & Trunks T1

The boys were speechless.

Goten had tears streaming down his face without even realizing it.

Trunks kept wiping his eyes aggressively, but the more he wiped, the more tears flowed.

Goten:

"Dad… did that for us…?"

Trunks:

"He… he beat HIM. He beat that monster…"

The boys grabbed each other and hugged tightly, trembling.

Videl & Pan

Pan didn't understand the scale of the battle, but she understood the tension of the moment.

When the light faded, she smiled — a small, innocent smile.

Pan:

"Dada win?"

Videl pulled her into her arms, holding her so tight the girl squeaked.

Videl:

"No… but someone who cares about us did."

She kissed her daughter's head.

Her tears wet Pan's hair.

Future Trunks T1

Trunks didn't cheer.

He didn't cry.

He stared at the ground in disbelief.

Future Trunks:

"Gohan… you hear that? You see that?

We're safe. We're safe because he carried the burden that you did aswell."

He clenched his fist.

Future Trunks:

"…I swear I'll catch up. I'll catch up to that level — for our world's sake."

Piccolo T1

Piccolo stood perfectly still.

The Namekian closed his eyes.

Piccolo:

"…Vegito… thank you."

He whispered it like a prayer.

Because that was exactly what it was.

Future Gohan (Now barely conscious)

He would wake later.

And he would cry.

Because someone else finished the mission he could not.

🌍 TIMELINE 2 — The Victors

Timeline 2 had already believed in Vegito.

They had followed him, feared him, admired him, resented him, and depended on him.

But this—

THIS

was something beyond their imagining.

Chichi T2

She had promised herself she wouldn't show emotion.

She said she wouldn't cry for that "cocky, reckless lunatic."

She failed.

When Vegito emerged from the light, reverting to base form, Chichi T2 burst into uncontrollable sobbing.

Not delicate crying.

But deep, chest-ripping, shoulder-shaking grief-joy.

Chichi T2:

"HE— HE DID IT— HE ACTUALLY—

VEGETA— GOKU— YOU IDIOTS—

YOU— YOU BEAUTIFUL IDIOTS—"

She cried into her hands, ashamed and relieved all at once.

Bulma T2 hugged her, whispering:

Bulma T2:

"It's okay… it's okay to love him."

Chichi choked out:

"Shut up."

And hugged her back.

Uub T2

Uub's eyes were wide, trembling.

His hands shook with a mix of fear, admiration, and crushing pressure.

When Vegito turned toward him mid-battle and said:

"I hope you're watching this somehow…"

It pierced Uub's heart like a blade.

Now, watching the victory, he whispered:

Uub T2:

"…Master… I'll reach that level.

I don't care if it kills me."

For him, this was not hope.

This was a vow.

Piccolo T2

He crossed his arms.

A faint smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.

Piccolo T2:

"He demonstrated superiority yet again."

Then, more quietly:

Piccolo T2:

"…Good work, Vegito."

Trunks T2

He had tears in his eyes too, though he tried to hide it.

He rubbed his cheeks and muttered:

Trunks T2:

"…That fusion really pulled it off…"

Trunks T2:

"NO— I'M— THIS IS— SOMEONE'S CUTTING ONIONS—"

Vegeta T1:

"…Weakling."

One of the elder scholars in the spectators sector simply sat down and stared blankly into the air.

Scholar 1:

"That level of adaptive growth… violates… everything."

Scholar 2:

"We must rewrite the potentiality equations… all of them…"

Scholar 3:

"That mortal fusion— is a singularity."

TIMELINE 4 —

Broly T4 felt Vegito's power like a physical blow.

He grabbed his head and hissed:

Broly:

"SO… STRONG… TOO STRONG…

CAN'T— BREATHE—"

Broly:

"…I want… to fight him…once again"

TIMELINE 5 —

Bardock

He barked out a laugh so loud the entire timeline block turned.

Bardock:

"Hah! HAHAHA!!

LOOK AT THAT!

THAT'S A SAIYAN!

THAT'S THE SUPER SAIYAN 4!"

His tail whipped behind him wildly, his battle aura flaring just from adrenaline.

He grinned with violence and pride:

Bardock:

"Kid, you made the entire multiverse kneel."

King Vegeta T5

The king fell silent.

closed his eyes and breathed in deeply, as though savoring the moment.

King Vegeta:

"Such a warrior, just unreal…"

He exhaled.

King Vegeta:

"…Timeline 2, you have earned your place above the rest."

Ruthless Vegeta T5

He didn't speak at first.

His jaw tightened, his eyes narrowing, his pride wounded but his admiration rising.

Finally he muttered:

Ruthless Vegeta:

"He's everything a Saiyan should be.

And everything I WILL BE!."

He clenched his fist until it bled.

Ruthless Vegeta:

"…But I'll chase that level.

Even if it destroyes me."

Rosan T5

Rosan tilted her head, analyzing every fragment of ki she sensed.

Rosan:

"…His growth rate… what in the world."

He folded her arms, eyes gleaming.

Rosan:

"Interesting.

Terrifying.

Inspiring."

Then he smirked.

Raditz shouted:

Raditz:

"THAT'S MY BROTHER'S FUSION!

HELL YEAH!"

Nappa pumped his fist:

Nappa:

"WE SHOULD PARTY TONIGHT!

WE LIVE ANOTHER DAY!"

Raditz:

''You're reallly confident he will let us live ahah''

Gast

Gast stood with his hands behind his back, his aura completely silent—no crackling, no shimmer—just stillness. His eyes widened by less than a millimeter…

Gast (quietly, almost reverently):

"…He surpassed a theoretical ceiling I had concluded impossible. A mortal fusion… rose above divinity itself."

Behind him, the Namekian delegation whispered prayers—some fearful, some awed, some overwhelmed. Gast continued.

Gast:

"that control of potential—"

He inhaled.

"…I must rethink the philosophical structure of power. Completely."

Slug pride was already unstable.

Now Vegito's final explosion hit him like a psychological meteor.

Slug:

"…Namekians are not meant to be this outclassed. Not by this much. Not by ANYTHING that breathes mortal."

He gripped his cloak.

He felt smaller.

Weaker.

Irrelevant.

And that terrified him.

Frieza

He stood frozen.

A cold sweat formed on his brow.

Frieza

He clutched his chair so hard the metal bent.

His tail dropped lifelessly on the floor.

Frieza:

"W-what… WHAT is this level!? What IS THAT!?"

His voice wavered.

His soldiers pretended not to notice.

Frieza:

"That… creature… is a mortal fusion and he erased a godlike being as if swatting a bug!"

He swallowed. Hard.

Frieza:

"Even my strongest transformations… would be vaporized simply by standing near him."

Then paranoia flooded him.

Frieza:

"What if he comes here? What if the timelines merge? What if—"

He stopped.

Then whispered:

Frieza:

"…I must evolve."

He'd never admit it out loud.

The Ginyu Force

Recoome:

"Uh… boss, you okay? You look kinda pale—"

Frieza immediately death-beamed him.

Burter: "NOT A WORD. LET'S JUST—STAND STILL. VERY STILL."

Ginyu looked upward.

Even his pride in his "elite" status evaporated.

Ginyu:

"…I would give my entire soul to switch bodies with THAT Vegito. Imagine… my poses with that strength…"

Jeice:

"Mate I don't think even your poses could keep ya alive against him."

Mr. Satan (Timeline 9's version)

He fell out of his chair.

Mr. Satan:

"H-Holy… mother of all championships… and I thought my fights were impressive…"

He fainted.

Human Scientists

Every scientific model broke instantly.

One physicist stared at the readings.

Physicist:

"This energy output should erase the concept of space-time."

Another whispered:

"…Does that fusion know what he's holding…?"

Ordinary Humans

Some cheered.

Some prayed.

Some cried.

Some fainted.

One little girl whispered:

"Mom… do we still matter?"

Her mother hugged her tightly.

"Yes, baby. Because even gods choose."

The world's martial artists stared in utter emptiness.

Tien, Krillin, Yamcha—the versions of them from a timeline where they NEVER knew Goku—were simply floored.

Tien:

"…If that is martial arts…

I have wasted my entire life."

Yamcha:

"Nope. Nope. I'm done. I'm retiring from breathing."

Turles

He stood with an apple in hand, stopped mid-bite, the fruit falling to the floor.

His eyes widened.

Then narrowed.

Turles:

"So this is what happens when a Saiyan reaches the true origin of his bloodline…"

He smirked.

A dark, hungry smirk.

Turles:

"…I want it."

Bido & Kogu

They exchanged looks that screamed one thing:

"Yeah we're NEVER messing with Saiyans again."

Turles spoke last.

Softly.

Almost respectfully.

Turles:

"…With that power… he rewrote what a Saiyan is."

He clenched his fist.

"I don't know if I envy him… or dread him."

A ripple of impossible silence washed across the arena as Daishinkan stepped once more into the center of the ring.

Behind him stood:

the Twelve Whis, hovering with serene unity,

the Announcer, holding his interstellar microphone with trembling hands,

and the fractured remains of a Tournament now finished—

with the floating debris, scorched air, and the lingering radiation of Vegito's final strike still humming behind the barrier.

The Announcer inhaled, preparing to deliver the ceremonial question—

But Whis T1 smoothly reached forward and plucked the microphone out of his hands with one effortless flick of the wrist.

Whis T1:

"Ahem… I'll handle this part."

The Announcer, wide-eyed, stepped back as Whis drifted toward the center, the microphone glowing with divinity as his voice echoed across infinite timelines.

Whis T1:

"So then, Vegito… What is your wish?"

Vegito T2—still scorched, cracked, and breathing like a dragon whose lungs were made of suns—

lifted his gaze.

The entire multiverse seemed to lean forward.

He spoke, as though announcing a truth he had already accepted long before the fight began.

Vegito T2:

"My wish… is to create the ultimate timeline."

A murmur rolled through the survivors—fear, confusion, awe.

Vegito continued, voice growing clearer, firmer, sharper:

Vegito T2:

"I want to merge the remaining universes into a single Prime Universe.

A world made only of the strongest paths, strongest warriors, strongest destinies."

Daishinkan's eyes gleamed—interest, and perhaps… approval.

Vegito T2:

"Keep Timelines 1, 2, 5, 9, and 10 intact.

Merge them.

Unify them into one."

The crowd erupted—shock, panic, disbelief—

but Daishinkan raised a single finger.

The multiverse fell silent.

Daishinkan:

"So be it.

But understand this, Vegito:

Merging timelines comes with consequences.

If two versions of the same being exist and lack the strength or metaphysical foundation to remain separate…

they will be forced into one singular existence."

Whis T5 added softly:

Whis T5:

"This applies especially to mortals.

Humans, Namekians, weaker fighters—

most will fuse together to prevent cosmic imbalance."

Vegito didn't even blink.

Vegito T2:

"Good.

Let every weak path become one.

Let overpopulation correct itself naturally.

What matters is that the strongest survive to build the future."

There was no malice.

Just cold logic.

Vegito T2:

"And… teleport them all to Capsule Corp of Timeline 2.

Every warrior.

Every fused being.

Let that place become…"

He raised his head toward the heavens.

Vegito T2:

"…the Timeline of Timelines.

The Universe of Universes."

Daishinkan lifted his hand.

A tiny snap.

So small.

So gentle.

Yet it was the sound by which entire histories died.

The timelines Vegito did NOT choose—

Timeline 3

Timeline 4

Timeline 6,7

Timeline 8

Timeline 11

Timeline 12

—began to tremble.

started to unwrite themselves.

Planets dissolved into glowing dust.

Then that dust dissolved.

Then the concept of dust dissolved.

Wars never happened.

Victories never occurred.

Lives never existed.

The universes were folding inward like paper swallowed by its own shadow.

Mass erasure.

Silent.

Cold.

Absolute.

And Vegito watched.

He chose this.

He didn't flinch.

But two faces…

Two silhouettes…

did make him hesitate.

Just for a moment.

Broly Timeline 4 had been watching from the collapsing void, his green aura flickering like dying fireflies.

He looked confused.

Like a child being told the stars were never real.

He reached toward Vegito across the void—

Because he thought—

maybe someone would save him from himself.

Vegito looked away.

Broly's body unspooled into vapor.

Then into light.

Then into nothing.

faded out of existence.

Vegito exhaled through his teeth.

It hurt him.

But it had to be this way.

Broly was a storm that never stopped devouring.

A destruction that never balanced its equation.

Vegito whispered under his breath:

Vegito T2:

"…goodbye."

Shun—mysterious, prodigious, unpredictable—stared back at Vegito as his timeline dissolved.

cried.

Softly.

Quietly.

Tears floating from his face as reality peeled away from him.

He mouthed a word.

Vegito couldn't hear it.

But he knew what it was.

"Why?"

Then Shun vanished without a sound.

Vegito's jaw tightened.

This…

this one would haunt him.

More than any enemy.

More than any victory.

A face disappearing, silently asking a question Vegito didn't want answered.

Daishinkan:

"It is done."

warriors,

civilians,

gods,

families,

friends,

rivals,

souls with no home left—

were pulled instantly into a spiraling white vortex.

Reality folded.

Gravity inverted.

Time warped around them.

And in a blinding flash—

—everyone appeared in the courtyard of Capsule Corporation, Timeline 2.

A single universe.

A single home.

A single origin point for everything that would follow.

Vegito landed lightly on the ground.

His eyes scanned the families, the warriors, The children.

The new Prime Universe.

A universe shaped by his will.

Daishinkan's voice echoed overhead:

Daishinkan:

"And so it is declared.

By mortal victory and divine authority—

the Prime Timeline has been created."

The sky shimmered with newborn cosmic light.

A new era had begun.
