Nova and Kairi head back to their room; both of them are exhausted from the meeting. Nova collapses onto the bed, letting out a sigh of relief. She dives her head into the bedsheet, and as her voice is muffled, she says, "I'm so exhausted from the fight with Maria and from that meeting. I haven't had time to relax." Kairi locks the door, then walks to the curtains and closes them. She turns and looks at Nova, saying, "Get some rest, dear. I want to take you somewhere tomorrow while we still have time." Nova wrapped herself in the bedsheets and then swiftly drifted off to sleep. Kairi cuddled up to Nova and fell asleep almost instantly. While sleeping, a red orb came out of Nova's body and then landed on the ground. It shortly disappeared as Seilah appeared; she quietly opened the window and went to sit on the roof. While looking at the beautiful night sky, Seilah placed her hands together and stretched. In the distance, someone said, "Looks like you're enjoying the night sky." Seilah turned around and saw Watanabe standing behind her. He sat next to Seilah and said, "Are you enjoying the night sky, Seilah?" She smirked in response and said, "What are you doing here?" Watanabe coughed heavily, then covered his mouth with his hand. When he opened his hand, there was blood all over it. Seilah's eyes widened, and she said, "You're dying. How long do you have?" Watanabe smiled in response and then said, "A few days minimum, but I can tell you don't have long left yourself. That fragile spirit core won't last long; I can already see the cracks in it." Seilah sighed in response, then she stood up and said, "Yeah, I know. I will be careful, but I do have a question. Do your subordinates know that you're going to die soon?" Seilah shortly vanished as Watanabe smiled and then said, "There are a lot of things my subordinates don't know about me, but soon I will tell them." Watanabe jumped off the roof and headed back inside. A few hours pass as it becomes morning. Nova stood up and opened the curtains; the bright light shone onto Kairi's face, but she quickly turned to the other side of the bed to block the sun. Nova tried to shake Kairi a little to wake her up, but she was unresponsive. Nova started to become impatient. Nova placed her finger at the back of Kairi's neck, then swiftly turned her finger to ice. The chilling cold made Kairi jump out of bed. Nova started laughing at Kairi's reaction. Kairi rubbed the back of her neck and then said, "That wasn't funny." Kairi flicked Nova on the head, and then she headed into the shower. Nova shortly followed both of them. Started getting ready to head out. An hour passed for Kairi and Nova. On the outskirts of the Nether realm, they started walking into a deep wood; the wood felt endless. Nova looked at Kiari and then said, "Dear, where are you taking me?" Kairi smiled and grabbed Nova's hand, then started running deep into the woods. They arrived at the centre of the woods. The sun shone down onto the little lake in the woods. There was a tree stump by the lake. Kairi let go of Nova's hand and said, "We are here." Nova smiled as she crouched down to touch the soft grass. A small cat ran towards Nova and started rubbing itself against her hand. Nova started stroking the cat. Kairi walked over to the tree stump, then sat down. She started looking up towards the sky, smiling. The cat ran back into the woods. Nova stood up and removed her coat, placing it on the grass before she sat on Kairi's lap. She looked Kairi in the eyes and said, "This place is beautiful. Thank you for bringing me here." Kairi smiled and hugged Nova tightly, then said, "Nova, after this battle we should find a place to live; we can't keep chasing after people." Nova nodded before saying, "You're right; we should. Once this Shiki stuff is handled, we will go find a place for us." Kairi smiled in response before pulling a cigarette out of her pocket. She placed it in her mouth before lighting it. Nova coughed slightly and said, "I thought you quit." Kairi smiled before saying, "I did, but I'm just glad that we are together with all the stuff you have gone through, losing Hanako and then going to war. I'm sorry I couldn't be with you sooner." Nova turned to face Kairi and grabbed her face, then said, "Listen, those things are over with; don't beat yourself up about it. We are together now; that's all that matters." Nova kissed Kairi on the lips, but then all the animals in the area started running away in fear. Nova and Kairi felt an evil presence approaching them. Nezha stepped out in front of them. Kairi said, "What are you doing here?" She wrapped her tail around Nova tightly. Nezha walked closer to Nova then said, "I didn't come here to fight; I came to tell you some interesting information that I learnt about." Before she could speak, a chaos portal opened up beside Nezha as Maria walked out of it. She had an annoyed look on her face before saying, "What did you call me here for, Nezha?" Nova and Kairi were surprised to see Maria, but before they could say anything, Nezha said, "To put it simply, there's another dragon in this universe." Nova and Maria's eyes widened as they said at the same time, "What? How is that possible?" Nezha laughed at their reaction and said, 'It's simple, really, Nova. You weren't born with a draconic essence even though you have one now. Every single dragon that was born from this universe has had one since birth.' Everything about you becoming a dragon doesn't match your origin at all; your father was the great devil Lucifer, and your mother was the supreme snow spirit. Yuki, that fragment allowed you to override your own origin." Nova was shocked by this realisation, but she had a burning question. She said, "Do you know where this other dragon is?" Nezha shook his head in response. He turned around and said, "I have no idea who they are or what they look like; it's just something I figured out while at the meeting. Before I go, I can see that you accepted your father's sin of pride. When you master its power, you will be able to use its spell, "Devils' Authority." Nezha suddenly vanished, leaving everyone speechless. Maria turned and looked at Nova before saying, "You should rest up a bit more before we head out to the human realm." Nova and Kairi nodded as Maria went back through the portal; it shortly disappeared afterwards.
