[3rd POV]
The realization that Amaterasu was actively being manipulated by her entire pantheon was...alarming, very very alarming. The fact that they were all almost certainly working together in order to make sure that she remained unknowing to the actions and workings of their group.
The fact that they had used her name in order to accomplish their own tasks, many of them being less than kind and bias against the Yokai towards the clans. The question that was really bugging them all was the why.
Why were they hiding this all from her? Why were they so bias against the yokai and towards the clans? And why did they think that it was a good idea to continue to manipulate what is likely the strongest goddess in the world, besides Morgan herself?
It made no sense.
Which pointed to something else. That there was somebody else that was backing them, and Morgan was pretty sure that it was either Rizevim, or somebody that worked with him.
That wasn't a good thing, and would need to be dealt with.
"I can't believe that asshole lied to me! He told me that you were being treated fairly, that you had all the funding and help you could ever need!" Amaterasu raged, the grounds in the surrounding beginning to shake underneath her immense power.
"I must ask, how did you not know before that he was lying to you, Lady Amaterasu?" Ajuka asked, confused on how it was even possible that someone of such a level of power could not notice something like that.
It was impossible in his eyes. The fact that someone of her status could not know what Susanoo and the others were up to.
"Well...now that I think about it, they really liked to have me do all sorts of tasks. Like making these super cool talismans and helping bring forth happiness to all of Japan. That and they really started this cool farm in our realm, full of heavenly animals of all sorts!" Amaterasu responded after a few moments of thought.
"I especially liked the piggies, they were pretty cute" Amaterasu added, as Morgan began to realize that her personality was not exactly the same as she had been. She was a lot...stranger here, more foolish, naive.
She suspected it was due to the manipulation that she had been under for who knows how long at this point. If Amaterasu was as old as Morgan expected, then it was likely tens of thousands of years, if not hundreds of thousands of years.
"And what are you going to do about it then? About the fact that Susanoo has been lying to you for what is likely centuries?" Morgan asked, staring at the supreme Goddess of the Shinto pantheon. She was hoping that the woman would punish them or something, so that they do not try anything stupid.
She'd hate to have to go to war with the Shinto Gods.
"Um...I don't know? Maybe strip him of his power for a few hundred years? Would that work?" Amaterasu asked with a hum, tilting her head in thought as she contemplated any other ideas that would work.
The others in the room looked at her upon hearing the idea, as strangely enough...it wasn't the worst idea in the world. Sure, it would need some work, and would definitely need to be applied to more people than just Susanoo (assuming that the entire pantheon was working against her, as everyone suspects), but it should work.
"That...isn't the worst idea. But what makes you think that it was only Susanoo that had been lying to you?" Morgan asked, as the woman stopped and turned to her with furrowed eyebrows.
She didn't like where this was going.
"What do you mean?" Amaterasu asked with a tilt of her head, confused. She barely knew who the woman that she was talking to was, but she could tell that she was super strong, and probably not someone she should mess with.
She assumed that she was the leader of the new faction.
"I mean that it's impossible for them not to know. How else could they hide all of this information from you? It wouldn't make sense for only Susanoo to be lying, because he doesn't have the capabilities to cover this all up by himself. Therefore, it is very very likely that your entire pantheon - or a vast majority of them - is in on this manipulation" Morgan explained clearly to the woman, as Amaterasu stared.
Amaterasu was beginning to think that maybe her so called "Friends" were not really her friends. Not to the extent that she had originally thought.
"So-So what should I do then? If my entire pantheon is manipulating me? Lying to me?" Amaterasu asked with a frown on her face, not really sure what she should do about something like this. Sure, she could just destroy them all, but that would be a lot of work, and would end the lives of a lot of people.
She'd prefer to not do that, even if she could with little difficulty.
Yasaka, hearing the question, glanced at Morgan who locked eyes with her, a small smile forming on her face as she nodded.
"How about you allow Morgan to help?" Yasaka offered, as the woman stared at her in confusion, before glancing at Morgan.
"How can she help? Cause she does seem really strong, but I don't see why she'd help me. Not when I've been...not really the best at what I do" Amaterasu said, showing a rare serious glint in her eyes.
"Because it'll allow for us to get rid of a huge problem that has been affecting Japan. Not only that, but in return for me helping you get rid of the corruption that is ailing your Pantheon, I will expect something in return" Morgan explained, with Amaterasu frowning.
"And what is that?"
"Simple, whatever Gods remain in your pantheon will join you and merge with my faction. Making one single faction that will be built up by Angels, Devils, Fallen Angels, Yokai, and Shinto Gods. A faction that will be officially untouchable by the rest of the world. A unified front that will have absolute power in pretty much all of Asia" Morgan responded, a small smirk on her face when she saw the expression on Amaterasu's face.
It was an expression of contemplation. She was thinking about the offer, about the idea. And what it would mean if she actually went through and accepted it. Whether or not said offer would be worth it, and if she would be willing to become what is essentially a servant of the leader of the Heavenly Demonic Faction.
Morgan was watching her expression closely, practically seeing her thought process as she wondered if this was a good idea or not. If having the Shinto Gods joining her own faction would be a smart move.
She believed it would be, with the power that they had, and the control they possessed over a varying amount of domains, the faction would be able to achieve a far higher level of power, and much more control over the world as a whole.
It'll also mean that the Hindu Gods will no longer be able to safely work against them, not with the Shinto and Norse working with her, one of them being an ally and the other officially being a part of the faction.
They'd have to recruit pretty much everyone to fight against them. For they would become the ultimate faction, the supreme faction.
Morgan also knew that this would break out into a war one way or another. The Hindu Gods might be smart enough to not attack them, but the Greek would not be. Especially once they saw that the grim reapers were also a part of their faction, even if it was relatively more hidden.
If that didn't do it, the vampires would most assuredly cause it. As she planned on using Valerie to gain control over that particular faction, which would give her a means to controlling Europe and the countries surrounding it.
After sitting there for a few more moments, Amaterasu bit her lip as she looked up into the eyes of the second strongest being she had ever met in her entire life (only Ophis surpassed her), and opened her mouth to speak.
"Alright...I and whatever remains of my pantheon shall join you...Lord Zagan" Amaterasu said, lowering her head ever so slightly as Morgan smiled happily, the others joining her moments later, as she opened her mouth and responded simply with a single word.
"...Excellent!"
