"What?... where am I" I muttered as consciousness slowly crawled back into me.
As my eyes adjusted, I took in my surroundings and instantly knew exactly where I was.
The subtle hum, the rhythmic whirring, the faint vibration under my feet…
How did I know?
First, because anyone who's ever spent enough time with her knows that comforting hum.
Second, because I was standing right in front of her console.
And third, well I was the Doctor now. How could I not recognize my precious girl?
"Wow... this is new?" I said as I looked around the interiors
The TARDIS had changed. The console room was brighter, a soft green glow pulsing through crystalline columns. The walls curved into countless archways, each holding doors labeled in ancient, obscure languages.
Obscure for most people.
For me? They were practically children's scribbles.

"New design... don't like it" I muttered
Anyways new world, let's see, DC I may be the doctor but this world has many beings that are above me in power, but not many in intelligence, so I have to use that to my advantage
"Brain over brawn, heh"
WHIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
"What is that infernal sound?! oh yeah the breaks" I jogged to the console and switched them of
There's no way I'm leaving the breaks on like the other Doctor
WHIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRBEEEEE
" What? I've already turned off the breaks!" I said as I ran to the controls to see what was going on
The screen showed that the TARDIS was accelerating through space without my input. Every control I touched refused to respond.
No matter what I did I couldn't stop her or even change directions
"Don't tell me I was immediately noticed the moment I entered this world..."
I sighed
"Who am I kidding? of course I was" I said as I ran towards the door out of pure instincts
And I realized,
I didn't have my sonic screwdriver.
Not on me, not on the console, not anywhere.
Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful. Weaponless. More weaponless than most Doctors ever managed to be. I had no idea what was pulling the TARDIS, or why, but I hoped whoever (or whatever) it was understood what they were getting themselves into.
As I swung open the door I wasn't sure what I was expecting to see, I mean I won't have been surprised if I saw some mad god trying to make a meal out of me and the TARDIS
'Won't be the first time' I thought
But what I'm seeing right now was a little confusing, it was an infinite blank white space, completely white the TARDIS is currently flying through it like a ship through fog
"Ahhhhhhgggghgggggggggggg"
'What is that...?" I said in surprise and shock, and I'm not ashamed to say fear
As the TARDIS finally left the white space it rotated and I looked and what I saw froze me
Billions of beings, people, creatures, cosmic entities were embedded in a colossal wall stretching beyond sight. Each one screaming silently.
"The source wall" I said in shock
"Did my TARDIS just come out of the source wall?!" I said as I slammed the door shut and staggered back inside, completely overwhelmed
As I returned to the console still processing what I just witnessed, I saw a piece of paper sitting on the panel
That definitely hadn't been there before.
I picked it up and opened it, I saw a message on it, it was a letter and apparently it was from the fake goddess
Yeah,I hadn't forgotten her. I'd be running tests the moment I hit solid ground. She wasn't getting the last laugh.
"Hello, child.
By now, you've realized your TARDIS has exited the Source Wall. Let me clarify why.
I could have simply placed you directly into your new world, but doing so would have immediately alerted every powerful being in the DC Universe to your arrival. Even with my abilities, hiding you from all of them would have been… inconvenient. For me. Not for you."
(Yes, she really wrote that.)
"Sending you through the Source Wall provides crucial advantages
Firstly, the universe now considers you one of its own creations. You will not trigger cosmic alarms or divine senses unless you do something extremely drastic. Even then, you will be perceived as a native anomaly, not an intruder.
Secondly Your existence has been anchored into the universe's past. As you read this, the universe is currently constructing an entire evolutionary and historical background for your species. What it creates is outside my control, but rest assured,it will place you naturally within its structure.
Also, Your DNA has been locked. No one can replicate, clone, or extract your Time Lord biology in full. Any child conceived from you will inherit no more than 5% of your Time Lord traits. This is to prevent… unfortunate disasters. You know how often universes collapse because someone mishandles Time Lord genetics.
Finally, your TARDIS is heading toward Earth, where your journey will begin. When it lands, full control will be returned to you. The trip will take seven days
Good luck, child."
The letter dissolved into golden dust the moment I finished reading it.
"Okay so... there was that" I muttered
I had felt something scanning me while passing through the wall so I wasn't imagining things. I'd tried resisting using the energy flowing through my body, but it was pointless. Fighting the Source Wall was like punching a universe, besides, I thought I was captured and with nothing on me, it was better to play along
"Well I guess I have seven days to prepare for the whole universe, heaven knows I need to prepare, who knows what version of the DC universe I'm in, maybe it is the one where Superman has gone rogue or god forbid the Batman Who Laughs universe" I said as a shiver crawl up my spine
"Well seven days is enough" I said as I walked towards the door labelled room
What? You thought I was going to start crafting survival tools?
First off, I have seven days.
Second, I'm dead tired.
You don't return from death without needing a nap the size of Jupiter.
I stepped into the room and collapsed onto the bed.

A Billion Lightyears from the Source Wall
In a matte-black warship with jagged, brutalist architecture, two soldiers watched a flicker appear on their scanner, then vanish
They stared at each other
"Did you see that?" One asked
"Yeah"
"Should we... tell the captain?" The first one asked again
"Tell him what? That the scanner glitched? We're right next to the Source Wall. The thing glitches every other hour. And you remember what happened to the last guy who interrupted the captain during one of his… sessions."
The first soldier shuddered.
"Right. Not worth dying over."
So the two kept quite and didn't say anything, afterall no one else would notice what happened, they were watching the source wall from an insignificant corner of the ship and their job was one of the most useless jobs on the ship using a useless scanner no one was sure even works to watch something that they hardly understand
This whole act of watching the source wall was simply just a punishment Lord Darkseid gave their captain cause he was the weakest of his captains and during a war to conquer a planet, he allowed the prisoners under him to escape due to his negligence
As for them, they were the soldiers that were meant to guard the prisoners so they and a fee others are being punished by being made to do this kind of useless work
A perfect punishment for all included, pointless, miserable, and ignored.

Back in the TARDIS
"Ahhhhhhhh that was relaxing" I yawned, stretching as I got up.
I walked towards a wall of the room and it slid open revealing a massive bathroom
The shower was a waterfall, the floor glowed as i stepped on it
No toilet though.
From my physiology, I guessed Time Lords either don't produce waste or my internal energy vaporizes everything. I didn't even sweat.
Still, a shower was refreshing.
I just decided to take a shower cause its refreshing and I did enjoy a nice bath in my old life
After a refreshing bath I walked to the controls dressed in new cloths, a white shirt, with a blue jacket on top, a blue tie and blue pants
Very Doctor-ish.

After pressing a few buttons, I saw the time left before arrival
"Wow I can't believe I slept for twenty two hours" I said in surprise, I didn't think I was that tired
"Well since everything seems to be in order, I guess it's time for some upgrades" I said dramatically as I turned around smoothly and walked to the door labelled labs, in an ancient and forgotten language
"Everyone's getting an upgrade, even you girl " I said as I pat the railings while looking around the TARDIS with nostalgia
"You've been due for one in a long time" I said as I walked into the lab
The lab was enormous. Tables held tools made from exotic materials that shimmered unnaturally. Mechanical arms hung from the ceiling. At one corner sat a towering machine, the fabricator, it takes information fed to it to create whatever you desire
I grinned.
Tony Stark would've wept.
The central platform lifted as I sat in the comfortable chair, holograms appearing all around me.
I could command every arm, machine, and fabricator panel with simple gestures.
"Just like Tony Stank's lab, but more advanced "
I cracked my knuckles.
"First order of business, let's make this Doctor a proper and upgraded screwdriver "
"Oh this would be fun" I said as I began inputting instructions into the fabricator.
