Elia switched off her phone and returned to misting the flowers to keep them fresh throughout the day. Business boomed in the early morning but slowed in the afternoon. She used this free time to clip off the thorns on the roses. Doing this now would make it easier for her to arrange a bouquet when a customer arrived later.
She paused her movement when the door's bell chimed.
"Welcome to Fleur..." Her voice faded with her smile as she saw the customer's face. She hastily removed her working gloves and apron before crossing the counter to the other side.
"What are you doing here?" Elia briefly glanced at Amy's counter before turning to the man. "How did you find me?"
The man had dark brown hair and Hazel eyes. The color of them always reminded her of her late mother's eyes.
"That is the first thing you ask me after seeing me after so long? Really, Sis?"
