Arabella's steps grew slower. The floor came closer to her face whenever she let her guards down. In the end, she managed to stop her dizziness for a second but that moment of weakness immediately caused for the monsters to rush to her but immediately a gale of wind swept in front of her.
It hadn't came from her but Circe who was far behind her. She turned, finding Circe frowning as she took care of the rest of the demons. By no means demons were easy to kill but this? It was even worse. No matter how many times they killed these monsters, they appeared again as if they were birthed to the spot in less than half a second.
Arabella found herself realizing that this was a race against time. The longer it took for her to end Morpheus, the demons would come after her and then even her vast magic would find itself on verge of depletion, forced to come into a halt.
