Chapter 462 - Chapter 463: Kiana Said to Play a Game, But the One Who Suffered Was Still Kiana

"Aiya, Mei, don't!"

"Be good! Let me see!"

"Mei, you've got the wrong person! I'm Judah!!"

"Judah is Kiana now too, I won't let a single one go! I'll eat, eat, eat!"

In the living room, Mei, Judah, and Kiana were happily sitting on the floor playing Monopoly.

Just like a moment ago, when Kiana landed on Mei's property, Mei collected rent from her. But after taking Kiana's money, Mei took another share from Judah.

Then Mei played a Chance card, which allowed her to plunder a card from Kiana's hand. But after drawing a card from Kiana, she turned around and drew another one from Judah's hand, making Judah cry out in frustration.

Who told Judah to look like Kiana now? So there were two Kianas on the board! Since the target of the penalty was Kiana, why couldn't Mei take one card from Kiana and one from Judah?

And the referee of Monopoly—Project Bunny—wore a O.o expression, turning a blind eye and tacitly allowing Mei to exploit this little loophole in the rules.

Anyway, Bronya hadn't said anything, so it didn't know how to handle it.

By the time Ryn returned, Kiana and Judah's faces were already covered in sticky notes by Mei. They looked utterly dejected as they played Mei's game of "Monopoly where the landlord owns all the land, collects rent from anyone who passes by, and slaughters the landless peasants."

"Yo~ Everyone's having a great time!"

Ryn covered his mouth, forcing himself not to laugh, trying his best not to mock Kiana and Judah, whose faces were so covered in sticky notes that only two sad little eyes were visible.

"Hahahaha! It's super fun! With two Kianas, no matter what I draw, the penalty is doubled, and the rewards are doubled too~ Want to play, Ryn? It's really interesting!"

Mei cheerfully spread the pile of vouchers in her hand, which she could barely hold, all over the floor, a stark contrast to Kiana and Judah, who together didn't even have fifty bucks.

Dumb Bronya had made Project Bunny the referee, but Project Bunny hardly knew the rules and didn't allow anyone to give up or end the game. Kiana and Judah had been forced to let Mei gleefully slaughter them both all evening.

Kiana and Judah turned their heads to look at Ryn with despair in their eyes, hoping he would put an end to this boring farce.

"Ababa~

"Ryn turned his head away, pretending not to see, and played dumb as he walked away.

Usually, it was Kiana who, through sheer luck and by bullying Mei for not knowing how to play, slaughtered Mei in various mini-games. Now it was time for Kiana to get a taste of her own medicine and know how painful it was for others when she used to crush them.

Especially when she flaunted her gacha pulls in front of Fu Hua, Fu Hua almost fainted from anger.

Then Fu Hua got so mad she grabbed Kiana by the back of her collar and dragged her to Ryn, telling him to control Kiana properly.

Ryn at the time thought Fu Hua had discovered that he had secretly altered her gacha drop rates. Luckily, that wasn't the case~

"No… Ryn! Help! I'm dying!!"

"Mmm-hmm. I'd rather go practice my singing!"

Kiana and Judah put on their masks of agony, grabbing Ryn's left and right hands, trying to stop him from leaving.

Mei had gone mad from her long-time illness. After losing so many times, now that she finally had a chance to slaughter someone, she refused to let Kiana and Judah go, no matter what…

And on top of that…

Project Bunny silently floated in front of Ryn, then, right in front of him, grabbed Kiana and Judah by the back of their collars and lifted them up.

Returning them to their original positions, it made them sit properly and continue playing Monopoly.

And Mei, in front of them, was like a world-destroying demon king, squinting her eyes into a beautiful arc, looking "kindly" at Kiana and Judah as she handed them the dice.

"It's your turn~ my dear Kiana...s~

"Kiana and Judah both wore the same bitter melon expression as they stiffly threw the dice like robots. Then they waited for Mei to take their money, leaving them with 50 bucks as a sign that the game was not over.

"Pfft—Hahaha…"

Ryn could no longer suppress his laughter. Laughing heartily, he placed the dragon egg on the sofa and went upstairs to find Bronya and Sirin.

Since Bronya wasn't around, she must have gone back to her room to play games.

And since Sirin was also gone, she was probably coaxed by Bronya to play games with her.

She couldn't have been dragged to the training room by Himeko, right?

Before he even reached the top of the stairs, Ryn heard Bronya's shouts.

"Over here, over here… press dodge!"

"No, no, no, don't go there!!"

"Jump, quick, jump!"

"Yes! Amazing! That's it! Just repeat this cycle one more time and you can finish off this monster!"

"What?! You did that by button-mashing! You can't do it a second time… ah, this…"

Ryn pushed open Bronya's room door and walked in…

As a veteran otaku, the curtains in Bronya's room were perennially drawn. The small room was dark except for the light from the computer screen and the controller's keyboard.

Ryn carefully avoided the things Sirin and Bronya had thrown around, detour to the back of the two who were immersed in the game world with their headphones on, and watched them play.

"Huh… they're playing my 'Lotus: Sakura Dies Twice'…"

Sirin's body swayed from side to side. While playing the game, whenever something happened, before her fingers could press the corresponding action on the controller, her body had already started to turn and sway, reacting intensely.

Several times, Ryn saw a monster suddenly appear on the screen, startling Sirin, and then she would turn around and send Bronya flying…

Bronya quickly scrambled back on all fours, sitting next to Sirin to teach her how to deal with this monster.

It had to be said, Bronya was really patient. It was unknown if it was because she had been playing games alone for too long, so she always had infinite patience for newcomers, wanting to completely show them the world she could see.

Unfortunately… Sirin, like Kiana… no matter how good her luck was, her gaming talent was still a pile of crap…

Ryn watched silently from behind, waiting to see whose patience would run out first, Bronya's or Sirin's.

And so… the three people in the room silently watched the character on the computer screen get killed by the same monster over fifty times…

And Bronya had repeated the key points to defeating this monster at least fifty times…

Tormented by the game, and annoyed by Bronya's constant nagging, the frustrated Sirin, with a *crack*, snapped the controller in half. She then banged her hands on the desk several times, and finally raised the keyboard, about to smash the computer.
