Chapter 292 - Chapter 292

Yoruha smiled and said, "Don't worry, she's fine. It's just a momentary pain. Soon, she'll feel incredibly relieved, free from burdens that were never hers to bear."

Yūkimaru didn't quite understand what Yoruha meant by this, but he knew that Guren didn't blame Yoruha. He was worried, "But Guren-nee looks like she's in a lot of pain."

Yoruha crouched in front of Guren, observing her vacant expression, which was rather distressing to see.

"You should be happy. You won't have to serve Orochimaru anymore, nor will you have to be so exhausted. Find a quiet place and live a peaceful life with this kid. Isn't that wonderful? Isn't that what you've always dreamed of?"

In the darkness, Guren, awakened by Yoruha's words, came back to her senses.

However, she looked at Yoruha with a face full of reproach, "Are you happy now?"

Yoruha smiled and said, "It's good that you're awake. I hope you won't serve Orochimaru anymore. Otherwise, if he gets dealt with, you'll be the first to die."

Guren was taken aback, "Who could possibly kill Orochimaru?" She knew that Orochimaru had the technique of transferring his soul, and as long as his soul imprint existed, he would keep reviving.

However, Guren was unaware of Yoruha's abilities. For Yoruha now, completely erasing Orochimaru's soul posed no difficulty.

But he wouldn't do that. Guren had been persuaded by Yoruha. If she thought carefully about her experiences, she would realize that Orochimaru had always been deceiving her.

He never gave her a chance to think and constantly brainwashed her into wanting to become his vessel. For this goal, she had done many things and killed many people.

Yoruha chuckled, "Someone will eventually do it, but for now, no one wants to deal with him. However, I still hope you can leave him. There's no need to be foolish and serve him."

Guren looked into Yoruha's eyes, "Then who should I serve? You?" As she said this, her eyes remained fixed on Yoruha.

Yoruha calmly replied, "Why do you have to serve anyone? Can't you control your own life?"

Guren shook her head, "It's not as simple as you say. If I betray Orochimaru, he'll definitely hunt me down. Do you think I can escape?"

"Don't worry, you're not that important to Orochimaru. If you run, you run. He won't care."

"And here, take this. If he really comes after you, just channel your chakra into this kunai, and I can instantly be by your side. I can handle Orochimaru." Yoruha drew a kunai from his waist, marked with the Flying Thunder God technique.

Guren accepted the kunai from Yoruha, and although it was just an ordinary kunai, she held it like a precious treasure, her face flushed.

"Is this a gift from you?" Yoruha paused for a moment and said, "Of course." Guren held the kunai with both hands, lost in thought.

Yoruha didn't want to delve into it further. He stood up, "Alright, now that your issue is resolved, I still have to deal with Kabuto's situation."

He stood up. "He's strong and cunning. Don't let him catch you off guard." Yet Yoruha simply replied, "I'm just going to meet an old friend. I never planned to kill him." If he killed Kabuto, how would Kaguya Otsutsuki ever emerge?

Without her emergence, how would Naruto and Sasuke gain the Sage of Six Paths' powers? And if she didn't appear, how would the other Otsutsuki come forth? Without them, how could the legendary Otsutsuki God appear?

Yoruha was most eager to witness the so-called Otsutsuki God. Guren couldn't understand why Yoruha wouldn't kill Kabuto. "Do you know Kabuto?" Guren asked.

Yoruha smiled, "We've crossed paths once." Indeed, Yoruha had only met Kabuto once, but that encounter was likely unforgettable for Kabuto.

From his earlier anger towards the Three-Tails, it was clear he hadn't forgotten the events from three years ago. Guren recalled something and looked at Yoruha, asking, "Was the person Kabuto mentioned earlier you?" Yoruha smiled, "Probably."

Guren shivered, "Doesn't that mean you... you're the summoner of the Three-Tails?" "The Three-Tails is your summoned beast!" This revelation was overwhelming.

She had just been worried about Yoruha's safety, not realizing his identity was so terrifying.

Even though the Three-Tails was relatively unknown during the Fourth Great Ninja War, to most ninjas, it was a colossal and terrifying creature.

Not to mention the severe injuries it had just inflicted on Guren. To her, the Three-Tails was practically a godlike being.

Yet such a powerful creature was the summoned beast of this man, who aside from his good looks, seemed unremarkable.

Guren marveled, "No wonder you could teleport us here from dozens of kilometers away." "Orochimaru died once before; was that your doing?" Yoruha chuckled, "Oh, you've heard about that?"

Seeing Yoruha's expression, Guren knew she was right. She looked at Yoruha with a complicated expression. "If you really are who I think you are, I don't even know how to view you."

"You're clearly younger than me, yet so powerful. It's monstrous." Yoruha laughed, "Isn't it supposed to be called genius?" Guren scoffed, "Geniuses aren't that outrageous. You're clearly a monster."

"Was the Three-Tails' attack earlier your command?" Yoruha shook his head, "Of course not. You just angered it. It's a tailed beast. Once you provoke it, even I can't stop it." This was, of course, a lie from Yoruha, but Guren believed it.

After all, the Three-Tails was indeed too powerful. The fact that it was Yoruha's summoned beast was shocking enough. If Yoruha could completely control the Three-Tails, she wouldn't understand it.

Guren grabbed Yoruha's arm, "Even though I know you're strong, Kabuto surely has more tricks up his sleeve. Be careful, don't get complacent just because you're powerful."

Guren was still worried about Yoruha. She didn't know Yoruha's true strength. Not just Kabuto, even if Orochimaru came, the result would be the same. But Yoruha didn't bother explaining.

He smiled and said, "After I deal with Kabuto, will you tell me about Crystal Release?" Seeing Yoruha's smile, Guren huffed, "Just because you want to know, I have to tell you?" "Come back safely, and then we'll talk."

With that, Guren turned away, seemingly not wanting to look at Yoruha. Yoruha didn't mind. He was indeed interested in Crystal Release, but only out of curiosity.

Developing Crystal Release himself wouldn't be difficult. However, he still wanted to hear how Guren developed it.
