Third person POV
On the 6th day of his life in this world, Basilio was walking the streets in Fresa de Ard with his smartphone and some books about this world. At this point, he had bought these books using his money, which was quite a lot and was from his bank account in his previous life as "essence credits" (the Isekai System don't take the actual money physically; the numbers from his MetroBank account were scanned and transferred the numbers into his wallet as those Presas coins in his new world); some of them were deposited into his Isekai System Shop Balance. As of now, the balance remained untouched, and it accumulated over 1,020 Platinum Coins. Basilio had been learning a lot every day from Day 1. From the books, he also learned that the transit industry in this world was decentralized, and independent drivers, from buses to horse wagons and trains, had the freedom to make their routes daily and charge their fares under the government regulations for charging fares. This means that corporations in the transit industry were nonexistent.
"It's been 6 days now…" Basilio said to himself while walking, "…but I haven't chosen what occupation I should get to make a living…"
He then stopped aside and continued thinking, "With my Tech ability and tech equipment, there are many jobs that need their help and expertise, but these are just too good to choose one."
He then imagined being a soldier/gunslinger with guns, before switching to being a messenger who delivers letters with his smartphone and laptop for navigation and information research.
The third imagination is being a ghostwriter for anyone who wants to commission writings from him with his laptop.
Of the three scenarios, he snickers at the first one, before resuming walking down the street.
But then, this day was different because…
"Ah! Vamzoms!" one resident shouted while pointing at a strange flying object in the sky, catching the attention of bystanders nearby.
Basilio was one of them and looked at the sky, only to be shocked to see that flying object.
It was a combat helicopter!
But it was manned by a hostile group of hooded figures, who donned black and red, thick hoods and armed with swords and pistols.
That group, alongside 3 other helicopters, is now attacking the town for one thing: blood.
"Woah, what the…?!" Basilio responded to this. "No way!"
As the helicopters opened fire and shot missiles at the town's urban areas, Basilio and the others around him started running for their lives. The town was getting bombarded and destroyed by that group of hostile, helicopter-manning hooded army. That was from the race known as the Vamzoms, a name with the words zombie and vampire combined into one name. these are bloodthirsty creatures who want blood for themselves, as well as trying to kidnap some humans to turn them to be more like them.
