Saevra's arrow remained pointed at the shield user and while the boy smiled, he still did not take the step she had asked for. There was a sword user to her left and two ropes waiting on both sides of the clearing.
Theo looked down and controlled his chuckle. There was a thin loop beneath the leaves. Its other end disappeared behind a root near one of the rope users. A hidden trap to trap one of them at least.
"You sense it, right?" Saevra asked in a mutter and Theo flicked his finger which got her the answer.
Theo was more surprised at how she knew about it before him.
Rhevard raised his shield beside Theo. The shield user facing Saevra shifted his attention between them.
"There are three of you," he spoke. "Mind telling me where the other two are?" he asked with a confident look. But Theo was sure he was stalling for time.
