Her hair was now long and silver.
Her eyes were as dark as the abyss.
A normal person would lose their will if they met her gaze, even for a second.
It was beautiful and hypnotic.
For Ben, it had no effect.
Beside her stood a strikingly handsome young man with a monocle.
He bowed like a butler greeting his master.
"My name is Belial, Sir Ben," the man said. "I apologize for my impolite actions earlier, but I simply had to satisfy my curiosity, after all the things Mistress has said about you.
Though, it seems she undersold you.
You are strong."
His tone and posture were polite and submissive, but Ben sensed the challenge in his eyes.
He could feel the intent to fight.
Ben ignored him.
His attention stayed on Apophis.
He still had not given up on recruiting her to his side.
He felt that he still held the advantage.
Even with her seal, their bond remained.
