Theron mulled the new information over, his thoughts focusing on the feeling of the word Edict. After a long while, he spoke again.
"And what does this have to do with the Mercenary Guild?"
The Nightingale Ancestor Bird didn't answer, but this time it was clearly because it didn't have an answer to give. How long had it been since it was tapped into the real world and its happenings? It was no wonder it didn't know what was going on.

The feeling of hell and death that Rauther, Tyran, and Ophan had given off reminded Theron a lot of Macie as well. It was different, yet the same as well.
He had felt some of Ilzan's aura as well, but that wasn't quite right either. It wasn't exactly the same.
But given the way Ilzan spoke to Kempe, it was like they knew each other. In fact, if Theron had to posit a way for Kempe to possibly know about the Ice Spirit ahead of time, then it would have had to have been through Ilzan.
