Theron washed the blood off of himself quite slowly, the power radiating toward him feeling unprecedented. He didn't know why it was, but there was something about that moment that felt like it awakened something inside of him.
It couldn't have just been killing. He had killed plenty, and he had killed plenty especially recently. It could be said that he had wiped out at least 90% of the Hall of Ice and Heart all on his own.
It was hard to say exactly what it was. But it was also possible that the only reason all of this was happening was because his cultivation had finally settled down.
Back in the Hall, his cultivation had only just broken through twice in quick succession, and then there was a third time after he entered the Cloud Realm with his Soul as well. It wouldn't be a surprise if shifts in mental state didn't have much of a change.
But now, his cultivation had properly settled.
If Heart Demons could destroy one's cultivation, why couldn't the opposite favor him?
