"Then make them come."
The words left Lyra's mouth before fear could stop them.
Silence filled the Alpha's hall. Albert still held the torn fabric in his hand, but his fingers had tightened around it until his knuckles turned white.
"It belongs to Laura," Kael said coldly. "There is no mistake."
Albert shook his head. "Scent can be transferred. Fabric can be stolen."
"And tunnels can open by themselves?" Sarah asked.
Albert's jaw clenched. "She is my sister."
"That does not make her innocent."
"Enough," Lyra said.
Every face turned toward her.
A few months ago, the attention would have made her lower her head. Tonight, she forced herself to meet every gaze.
"We need proof," she continued. "Not because Laura deserves protection, but because Blackmoon deserves the truth. If we accuse the wrong person, the real traitor will escape."
Kael studied her for a moment before nodding. "Albert, take four warriors and bring Laura here. If she resists, restrain her."
