Sera and Rowan waited a week after Alec and his party left Lysanthia, driven by their goal to reach Celadon Town and find the port, before leaving on their designated route. Unlike Alec's party, they only took two horses that would bring them there, aiming to avoid the dangers of larger groups. They decided to leave, taking Ignis with them, before the harsh winter set in on Lysanthia.
Ignis wrapped his tiny arms around Sera's torso as they rode her horse—the cold wind bit against Sera's skin. The forest protected them from the prying eyes of other humans, but it didn't mean they were safe from lurking monsters and demons around the area.
