Chapter 792 - Chapter 792

Chapter 792 Epilogue: To the New World

Above the Moon Sea, countless particles of spiritrons rose in jubilant celebration, dotting the vast cosmos with flickering lights.

At the very center, surrounded by infinite stars, stood an unassuming school building.

If you walked up the wooden floors bathed in the morning sun, reached the third-floor corridor, and passed the fourth room, you'd find a massive activity chamber.

At the entrance, the bold characters "Moon Sea Student Council" were unmistakable.

Who would have thought? This seemingly child's-play organization was, in fact, the command center governing the supercomputer of civilization and managing the new Gaia—Earth Ι.

Even now, the student council's work continued smoothly.

"Rin, report on the situation of the Moon's dark side."

"According to last night's survey at exactly 8 PM, dark matter activity has decreased by thirty percent, resource consumption has dropped by seventy percent, and the rate of information tide surge has been significantly suppressed—that guy actually does some good, huh?"

"Umu, seems like having Tiamat suppress the imaginary number plane was the perfect move. And the other Rin—has the underworld successfully synchronized with the new Gaia—Earth Ι?"

"The plan's going smoothly. The Mesopotamian underworld already had adaptability before synchronization, and the Underworld Goddess showed no resistance… Hmph, of course she wouldn't. What even is that guy's race? A succubus?"

"I've never heard of a male succubus before," Leo chuckled. "But he sure is surrounded by girls… Even President Hakuno fell for him."

"Ahem." The girl seated at the head of the table coughed awkwardly before suddenly standing up, her gaze flitting away.

"I just remembered something I need to take care of… I'm leaving!"

With that, the flaxen-haired girl pushed open the door and hurried out, leaving the rest of the student council members exchanging glances before breaking into soft laughter.

"She ran off, Hakuno."

"Where to?"

"The Moon's dark side, obviously—" Rin Tohsaka drawled playfully, "because Sakatsuki is there."

The group burst into laughter at the all-too-obvious answer, filling the meeting room with lively cheer.

And sure enough, on the Moon's dark side, Hakuno found Sakatsuki deep in conversation with Tiamat.

"Oh, you're here." The young man was smiling as he spoke to the colossal silhouette emerging from the dark sea of stars. When he noticed Hakuno approaching, his lips curled into a gentle arc. "How's the student council work going?"

"Since when does the absentee president care about work?" Hakuno rolled her eyes prettily before standing beside him, gazing out at the boundless starry expanse.

Casually, she asked:

"This time… when are you leaving?"

"Leaving?" Sakatsuki tilted his head in confusion, prompting the dark silhouette to mimic his movements, stirring the tides of the abyss.

"Where to?"

"Where to... You're not one to stay idle." Hakuno twirled a lock of her hair, her tone flat as she teased, "I heard from Caren and Danzo that you're the kind of man who can't stay home for more than three or four days before running off. They haven't seen you in almost a year."

"Uh, you sisters really get along well, huh?"

"Thanks for the compliment. So?" Hakuno narrowed her eyes, staring intently at Sakatsuki, who thought for a moment before decisively shaking his head.

"Let's not. Do I look like someone who gets excited about beating up kids?"

The young King of the Moon Cell extended his hand, countless lights and miracles gathering in his palm, transforming into a dazzling array of colors: "This power is already too overwhelming. I doubt any audience would enjoy a 'deus ex machina' plotline."

"Besides, as they say, 'secure the home front before venturing abroad.' There's still so much to explore within the Moon Cell."

Sakatsuki paused, then suddenly curled his lips into an expectant smile.

He couldn't forget that within this vast Moon Cell, there were still hidden dragons and crouching tigers.

The Umbral Star's emissary, Sefar, who was also the adorable and simple-minded King of the Huns, Attila.

The Demonic Bodhisattva who appeared in the Deep Sea Cyber Paradise SE.RA.PH, Kiara Sesshouin.

And the yet-to-emerge but inevitable superior AI, the Cancer of the Moon Cell, BB.

Just thinking about them made Sakatsuki chuckle wryly.

"With so many ticking time bombs here, who has time for field missions?"

"Ah, that expression—see, your lips are curling again."

Hakuno pointed at Sakatsuki and teased, "I can tell you're itching to do something stupid! Out with it—where are you running off to this time?"

"I'm not going anywhere."

His silver hair flowing like moonlight, Sakatsuki took Hakuno's hand before she could react, leading her toward the Moon Cell's central control.

"Hakuno, my home is here. My friends, my comrades, the people I love... they're all here."

He glanced back as if sensing something, his wry smile deepening when he noticed the attention directed at him from various angles.

Ever since returning from the Seventh Singularity, the dispute over his "ownership" had nearly triggered the Moon Cell's first world war. The clash between the Roman and British factions had been so intense that even Sakatsuki couldn't help but tremble in fear.

Stop it! Don't fight over me!

In the end, it had devolved into the current arrangement. The mighty King of the Moon Cell no longer even had control over his own freedom—Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays belonged to the Round Table; Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays to Rome; Sundays were outright carnivals... It was, ahem, utterly heartbreaking.

But recalling those moments—awkward, joyful, sorrowful, or exhilarating—he couldn't hold back a soft laugh.

Truthfully, any outcome would have been fine.

For him, the beginning and end of the story would always lie within this eternal moonlight.

"Let's go."

Holding the arm of the other King of the Moon Cell, the man who had walked alongside the "moon" all his life strode forward.

From the tides of the Dark Sea, the Fate Compendium turned to a new page, leaving the old story behind. On the fresh parchment, their tale continued.

The past had ended. The future had yet to begin.

But there was still the present.

Under the gaze of the clear Moon Spirit's eyes.

The world chants, all things rejoice.

[The End]
