Mia and Selena had both seemed happy about their decision, and Aurora had never heard either of them express any doubts about getting married.
Unable to remain patient, she immediately called Mia.
Fortunately, the call connected after a few rings.
Aurora brought the phone to her ear, her brows drawing together as she waited for Mia to answer.
"Mia, what's going on? Why did you suddenly cancel the wedding?"
Aurora got straight to the point without bothering with any greetings. "What happened?"
Mia immediately pouted on the other end of the phone. "Not even a single greeting, and you're already questioning me! Aren't you being a little too rude?"
Aurora chuckled softly, amused by her friend's exaggerated complaint. "Well, I'm just looking out for you, Mia."
Mia snorted in response.
