Chapter 317 - When the Store Closes

Luo Chuan listened to the murmuring conversations around him, a deep sense of speechlessness rising in his heart.

"When did I decide to go against Medicine Valley?"

He was the owner of Origin Mall. If anything, he should be the first to know about such a grand scheme.

Yet, according to these people—

The store's entire purpose was to challenge Medicine Valley?

"News to me," Luo Chuan mused.

If they ever found out that the Third Elder of Medicine Valley were also loyal customers of Origin Mall…

Their expressions would be priceless.

A wicked smirk tugged at the corners of his lips as he imagined the scene.

"Boss."

A deep voice interrupted his thoughts.

Luo Chuan turned to see Hu Kuang and Mo Yuan approaching.

"What is it?" he asked, snapping back to reality.

Hu Kuang flashed a grin—one that looked suspiciously insincere.

"It's nothing much," he said, rubbing the back of his head. "Monkey and I just wanted to talk to you about something."

"Yeah, yeah!" Mo Yuan, the Demon Monkey, nodded enthusiastically.

Luo Chuan arched a brow.

With me?

This had to be something unusual if they were acting this secretive.

"What is it?" he asked calmly.

Hu Kuang leaned in slightly, lowering his voice.

"Boss… there are too many people here."

Luo Chuan's interest piqued.

He could tell—this wasn't just idle chatter.

And judging by their expressions, this was no trivial matter.

Most of the customers had already made their purchases, and there was no need for the light curtain anymore.

With a casual wave of his hand—

The glowing screen vanished.

Gasps rippled through the crowd.

Then—

"Origin Mall's business is done for today," Luo Chuan announced flatly.

No one dared to protest.

"Let's go," Luo Chuan said.

A powerful roar shook the air.

Hu Kuang's body expanded, growing into a ten-meter-tall behemoth, his aura domineering and untamed.

Beside him, Mo Yuan let out a bellowing cry as his form expanded, his presence commanding the atmosphere.

This—

Was the undeniable dominance of the Monster Royal Clan!

Without hesitation, Luo Chuan tapped his toes against the ground—

And landed effortlessly on Hu Kuang's back.

Then—

With a single leap—

The two ferocious beasts tore through the air, leaving a raging windstorm in their wake.

Within moments—

They had vanished into the sky.

Ji Wuhui let out a sigh, shaking his head.

"The boss is gone again."

His real concern, however, was the products Luo Chuan carried.

While the jade nectar dew and mineral water had sold out today, there was always tomorrow.

But with Luo Chuan gone—

There was no telling when he'd return.

Old Bai chuckled.

"Your Majesty, the boss did mention that he came for the Ancient Ruins. Once the ruins fully open, you'll likely meet him inside."

Ji Wuhui nodded.

"I hope so."

Now that Luo Chuan had left, there was no reason for them to linger.

With that, Ji Wuhui and Old Bai turned and departed as well.

Little did they know—

A storm surrounding Origin Mall was already brewing.

Before Luo Chuan left, nearly every cultivator present had visited Origin Mall.

And even though the store had closed—

The products remained.

As they purchased items, cultivators couldn't help but spread the news to their trusted companions.

"This is too good to keep to ourselves!"

And so—

More and more cultivators rushed over, eager to witness the miracle store firsthand.

But when they arrived—

They found no light curtain.

Nothing.

Only an empty space where something great had once stood.

Anger flared among the newcomers.

"Where's the great opportunity?" someone growled.

"Why is it gone?! This isn't fair!"

But their complaints didn't last long.

Because—

They soon noticed something strange.

The cultivators who had already purchased goods were now—

Buying them back at high prices.

Mineral water.

Spicy strips.

Items that had been purchased earlier for a pittance were now being bought at insane markups.

The reason was simple—

Even the strongest high-grade pills couldn't compare to the effects of Origin Mall's products.

To carry one was to carry a second life.

Veteran cultivators understood the truth immediately.

They had already bought their fair share earlier—

But could they ever have too many life-saving treasures?

Of course not.

And so—

A new market was born.

A chaotic, frenzied trade.

One that would soon set the entire continent ablaze with curiosity.

And at the heart of it all—

Was a store that had already disappeared into the night.
