Chapter 205 - Chapter 205: Morgan le Fay's Creation

In the next instant, the light erupted into a red blaze, splitting the horizon with wildly dancing flames. But this wasn't just any flame.

A group of magma giants appeared, striding slowly, carrying the heat of the earth on their shoulders. They stood nearly four meters tall, their chests bared, dripping with magma like boiling blood. In their hands, magma spears glowed red. Large warbows clung to their backs, looking as heavy as iron bulls.

Atop each of their backs, a magma flying dragon roared softly, its mouth exhaling thick smoke that dripped lava into the sea, boiling the saltwater into white steam.

What the hell was this? What earth has ever given birth to such creatures? Or is this something sent from a dimensional rift that they forgot to lock?

The magma giants approached. The ground trembled. The thunder of their footsteps mingled with the roar of the hot wind. Their leader—his chest throbbing like a crater—raised his spear high, shouting in a voice that rolled like an earthquake: "In the name of the witch-queen Morgan le Fay! The witch of Kamar-Taj, hand over the Wand of Xyggondo... or you will die today!"

Lance held his breath, his eyebrows slightly raised.

Morgan le Fay?

King Arthur's half-sister?

Were these creatures truly just magical pawns carved from that woman's mad desires?

Lance's fingers clenched around the cold wand, almost pulsing in his palm. He stared at it as if it might hold the answer.

"Why does Morgan le Fay want this wand?" Lance asked, his voice low but trembling with wonder.

"This is none of your business! Leave it on the ground, leave, and consider yourself lucky to be alive!" The leader of the magma giants stepped forward, the magma giant's spear gleaming with red embers dripping from its tip. Behind the magma giant, the heavy footsteps of the other giants shook the ground. They roared like erupting craters, drawing their massive warbows as if they were tiny twigs. The tips of the black arrows quivered, all aimed at Lance's chest.

Lance sighed, the corners of his lips lifting into a faint, yet unwarm smile. "That depends... on whether you're alive enough to force me."

Lance dropped his wand into the storage room. In one motion, Lance's hand reached for the Golden Dagger from the vault—its blade reflecting a shimmer of light, dripping with a golden aura that seemed impossible in the barren terrain.

If Morgan le Fay herself were standing before Lance, Lance knew exactly where he would flee with the wind, unwilling to utter a word. She was on the same level as—or even surpassing—the Sorcerer Supreme. Fighting her now would only lead to death.

But all that stood before Lance were pawns, living chess pieces manipulated by her delicate fingers.

Lance relaxed his shoulders, staring at the magma army that hissed like a volcano about to explode. The hot wind ruffled Lance's hair, and flakes of fire flew, dancing on Lance's blade.

Easy.

Lance's smile widened—cold, as thin as a knife's edge.

...

...

...

The first to attack wasn't the magma giant, but the dark green-skinned crocodile man standing tall amidst the billowing steam. His yellow eyes glinted as if reflecting the embers around him.

Without warning, the crocodile man let out a short hiss—then extended his claws, moving at lightning speed, penetrating the distance between them and stabbing straight at Lance's heart. The sound of the crocodile man's claws pierced the wind, tearing the night air apart.

However, before the crocodile man's fangs could open in a triumphant laugh, the crocodile man's back suddenly felt a chill, an icy chill that crept down his spine. It felt like a swarm of needles were piercing his pores.

It wasn't an illusion!

The crocodile man lowered his head with a jerky movement, his eyes wide in disbelief. There, through his chest, a sword pulsed as hot as coals—stabbing mercilessly through his heart. "When…"

"With your IQ, don't even bother thinking about that," Lance whispered, his voice as sharp as his own blade. Lance pulled the Golden Dagger from his enemy's chest, warm blood splattering onto his boots. An instant later, Lance raised his left hand, his cold gaze cutting through the smoke. "Five-Elements Yin-Lightning."

Boom!

Pitch-black thunder exploded from Lance's palm, sweeping through the air like lightning snakes biting wildly. The torrent of lightning engulfed several strange monsters before him. The smell of burning ozone rose amidst the groans.

"Wow!"

"It hurts—!"

Several of the strange, skinned monsters fell to the ground, rolling, crawling aimlessly. After the Five-Elements Yin-Lightning pierced their bodies, their skin throbbed, lightning bolts running beneath their flesh, making them shiver wildly like broken dolls.

In an instant, their true forms were revealed. Rotting flesh and black robes tore apart, revealing their true forms: alien-looking, dimensional monsters—more than two eyes, elongated bones, protruding tongues licking the sandy ground.

Those dimensional monsters no longer dared to be arrogant on Earth. They might boast of being unafraid of Kamar-Taj, but fear still crept into their eyes—a primitive dread that dripped from their pointed teeth.

The fallen crocodile man also revealed his true form. His reptilian skin peeled off, vaporizing into green dust, leaving behind the body of a white, feather-robed wizard, his bushy beard red with fresh blood.

"Attack!" roared the leader of the magma giants. His voice shook the ground, making the rocks crackle beneath the other giants' feet. The magma giant raised his spear high, magma dripping from the tip, dripping onto the ground and hissing, creating a thick white steam.

In an instant, dozens of magma giants charged forward in unison—their movements trembling, the ground trembling beneath their massive feet. Some threw magma spears, others bent giant bows, tensing their glowing coal-coated bowstrings.

Dozens of spears and arrows flew like a meteor shower—fire shimmering across the night sky, slicing through the wind with a hissing sound, creating orange flashes amidst the smoke and dust.

The magma weapons fell to the ground like shooting stars—but there was no loud bang. There wasn't a need for a bang—the initial contact was enough. Several unfortunate mages covered in Lance's black thunder only managed a short shriek—and then their bodies melted into black ash. Robes and wands fell with the ash, useless against the infernal heat.
